It’s not bad or unwatchable but despite the amplitude of the spectacle, the end result is underwhelming.

Marauders raid the Ewok village and steal a power supply they believe to be magical. Wicket helps Cindel escape the evil witch Charal, and they befriend a hermit who may help them save the village. Just like with the first film Ewoks: The Battle for Endor is a film that except the fact that is boring and dull the Star Wars name is been butchered to death. There are so many characters like the old man that lives in the woods or the villain that looks like fish. And basically the entire film is uninteresting and i got bored a lot it's made for kids and kids will like it but hardcore fans of Empire Strikes Back and the original Star Wars Trilogy will get some Holiday Special flashbacks plus it feels cheap a lot like the Hercules TV Show with Kevin Sorbo from the acting to the characters themselves. Overall Ewoks: The Battle for Endor is a movie that kids should see but everyone else? No!!

Don't bother to look any connection to Star Wars. Movie was lot closer to basic fantasy with few laser guns. Ewoks aren't that brave jungle-tribe they were. Just bunch of glass-eyed fat idiots fooling around. Stuffed replacement for Three Stooges x 10Effects can't be called special. Harryhausens creatures from early movies are at least on the same level with two-legged lizards in this. Bad guys wear very stiff and lifeless rubber masksMost disgusting thing in this movie was still main character. I've never hated child actress this much. She looks more like coming from make-up for children's beauty contest then middle of forest. Main point seems to be make her look as cute and clean as possible, and take care she reads all her lines in most annoying childish tone. After these things pissing me off so much, I don't have any reason to comment about plot or other fails of the movie.

This is probably the best made for t.v. movie aside from Too Legit: The M.C. Hammer story. Only disappointment was the fact that Wilford Brimley does not once mention his "diabeetis". Otherwise Wilford aka the greatest actor to ever live gives a great performance and i highly recommending finding this movie and watching about 30-40 times. Also the lack of Ewok huckle buckle was disappointing, there should have been much more of that, at least 1 scene would have excited me. Great cast, script, some of the best cinematography I've ever seen, comparable to that of Bloodsport. Also the action was some of the best I've seen ever. If you see this movie for one reason alone, see it for Wilford Brimley, one of the great thespians of our time.

This is one of the great movies of the 80s in MY collection that I think about all the time. Back in the early 80s there were two good movies about the the Ewoks from Star Wars: Return of the Jedi. Both film have the spirit of the Star Wars film in MY opinion and especialy ROTJ. Both films are sad in a way but they are never boring and both have good special effects and the whole nine. Both film has some great music aswell! Seeing Wilford Brimley in this film is a treat. The begging is quite sad but this feature is never boring and like the other its action packed. Fans of Brimley and Star Wars should see this!
