It's entirely possible that sending the audience out feeling lousy was intentional

I enjoyed watching this film and would recommend other to give it a try , (as I am) but this movie, although enjoyable to watch due to the better than average acting fails to add anything new to its storyline that is all too familiar to these types of movies.

Remember how the first Crow movie had subtle native American undertones? Well what would happen if someone decided to make them overtones? The nicest thing I can say about this movie is that it's not 'City of Angels', other then that it fails across the board: Terrible writing, terrible pacing, terrible music and one of those irritating editing jobs with lots of random quick cuts, slow-motion, fast motion, and zoom ins during supposedly important scenes. On top of that crow mythos in this movie is horribly convoluted with Native American mythology dominating but just enough Judeo-Christian stuff to make the audiences tilt their heads trying to figure it all out. But the worst aspect of this moronic movie is its cast: This movie has the best b-grade cast money could buy and yet they're all waisted. Danny Trejo is completely wasted as a priest of some made-up native American tribe, David Boreanaz has two settings in this movie; I-don't-care-so-I'm-not-going-to-act which is when he's playing the main villain as a human and I-don't-care-so-I'm-going-to-ham-it-up which is when he's playing the devil. Tara Reid of Shaknado fame is also in this movie and not surprisingly she's also wasted. Like I said, the best shlock cast money could buy. The worst sin however is the Crow himself, he's acted by some nobody named Edward Furlong who is dreadful as The Crow, lacking any of the pathos or menace and just coming off as pouty. But as he's barely in the movie it's not too painful. Like I said the kindest thing I can say about this movie is it's not as bad as 'City of Angels', take that as a warning and stay away.

Imagine a "Crow" movie in where Dennis Hopper appears as a Satanic priest who speaks like an 80's kid that is trying to emulate a 50's greaser (that's the best explanation I have). Macy Gray appears as... someone... in the Satanic church with about four lines who does... something. Danny Trejo's character, a Native American Christian minister, attempts to save the day by revealing his chest tattoo of a woman in a sombrero and while performing a Native ritualistic dance. I can't make this stuff up.I honestly can't remember the last time I watched a movie with my jaw literally dropped. Thoughts rushed through my head throughout the entire film, wondering just exactly what the filmmakers were thinking. I have a feeling this a DVD of this movie is sitting on the shelves at home of all those involved, still in the shrink wrap.

Like all fans of the original Crow movie, I've learned not to expect anything good out of the sequels. Despite what some people say, ALL of the sequels have been awful. But this one is the worst by far. I have nothing good to say about this movie. That's right, nothing. Here's why the movie is absolutely dreadful.1. Edward Furlong looks like an emo version of the Crow. Seriously, when he put on the make-up I almost laughed. At that point, I knew this movie was going to be dreadful. Just look at the pictures yourself. You might as well have Justin Timberlake play the Terminator.2. Throughout the movie I kept asking myself "Could this movie possibly get any more lame?". The answer every single time was a resounding "Yes, yes we can".3. While I definitely hated the bad guys and wanted them to perish, I wanted the same for the Crow. No seriously, I was hoping that the Edward Furlong Crow would die and that the police would kill off the bad guys instead. Tara Reid would have been a better Crow and Edward Furlong.4. Satan. Satan himself is portrayed in this movie. No really. That's the point of the movie. One of the main bad guys is trying to become Satan himself. This movie and portrayal of Satan would have been torture for Satan himself to watch. Once Satan's character entered the movie, I wanted to drink arsenic and just end it all.5. In this movie, the characters will do something incredibly stupid and then explain it afterwards. It's like the director had the characters do random evil acts and then rewrote the script every time they did something. It was like a "write as you go" type movie.Summary: I only watched this movie because I loved the first Crow movie. Don't do what I did. You won't get back that hour and a half of your life. This movie should never ever been made.

I get lucky, and i get to see the latest "worst movie i've ever seen." Last night was just about that time for a new piece of garbage to take the crown. Thanks be to The Crow: Wicked Prayers for supplying me a few thoughts which will take me away from getting any work done for the next half hour or so.Firstly, i'd like to submit my appreciation for Edward Furlong. I like Edward furlong. Terminator 2, Detroit Rock City, American History X, etc. However; Casting Mr. Furlong as The Crow, a supernatural, consummate badass, hellbent on a particularly gory/sadistic style of vengeance = ignorant. Would you please just compare him, for a split second, to Brandon Lee (the original Crow). Does Edward Furlong possess a SINGLE MUSLCE in that pasty little body of his? Has he ever had training in Stage Combat, or any sort of Martial Art? (there's no evidence of that in this movie). Does he possess, even to the smallest degree, some kind of raspy, Lazarus-inspired, 'back-from-the-grave-to-get-you-sucka' voice that a dark hero should have? The answer to these questions, and the prospect of Ed Furlong being The Crow is simply "NO." Thankfully for Edward, the Crow character is featured in a monstrous black leather duster, or we would be even more exposed to his awkward body in all it's superhero shortcomings.Secondly, why are some actors so oblivious to what can only amount to a god-awful career decision? More power to Tito Ortiz. That's the absolute best performance that Tito Ortiz could conjure up, i'm sure. But, Dennis Hopper, Tara Reid, and David Boreanaz?????? Do these fine pillars of the entertainment industry in Hollywood not have a single employee checking out scripts and projects on their behalf before they're committed to them? F$&*, hire me!!!! I'll save you the embarrassment of being in these god awful movies before you have to see yourself on MTV2 or the Sci-fi channel at 2 am. AND, Danny Trejo! Please never do another movie not connected with Quentin Tarrantino, Robert Rodriguez, or Rob Zombie...The script is horrendous, Dennis Hopper's dialog alone will provide proof that the writer collaborated with his 8 yr old/gangsta nephew on this one. The story is ludicrous. The effects...let's just say at this point that this movie is bad!! Long story short, the individuals who make up the cast are interesting, well-established actors. None of them should have appeared in this movie. None of them should have been cast in the roles in which they were in this movie. None of them should ever speak to anyone about the fact that they've contributed to the completion of this movie. This movie is a formidable opponent to everything that Paris Hilton has been a part of (and the Epic Movie, Disaster Movie, Superhero Movie, franchise) for most god awful crap we humans can put on film...
