The film's masterful storytelling did its job. The message was clear. No need to overdo.

This is one of the best movies I’ve seen in a very long time. You have to go and see this on the big screen.

The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.

Some flaws, but a pretty well paced movie that's usually entertaining. The iconic bird helps a wrongfully executed man, who was framed for his girl friend's murder, return to exact revenge against those responsible. So it blends the horror theme of the franchise with a murder mystery story, and the mixture is accomplished reasonably well. The opening execution scene skillfully sets the mood. There are a few well used metaphors, but the bird's appearance may not make sense if you haven't seen the original film. The guilty conspirators and their motive is way too obvious and transparent, but the plot works in spite of this.William Atherton as the victim's father and Fred Willard as a militaristic police captain do the best acting jobs. The flashback sequences showing the ill-fated Romeo/Juliet style couple's back story are executed very poorly; the 360 degree pans are intrusive, and the girl playing Laura overacts painfully. These scenes, intended to be romantic, and establish pathos for the victimized characters, are just irritating. The copter explosion looks as phony as a politician speech and it doesn't even fit, given what the film spends so much time telling us about the main character. There are some routine clichés, such as shooting a guy a thousand times who won't die (lol), and the makeup on the vengeful Crow guy changes from scene to scene. But, if you can overlook these goofs, it's a good popcorn flick.

OK this isn't as good as The Crow: Wicked Prayer (2005) but better than The Crow (1994) some music tracks of this makes me wonder if I have gotten hold of a movie with the same music guy from Universal Soldier: The Return (1999) but take nothing else away from it These Crow Movies need a higher rating me watching them makes me wonder if this is THE GREATEST FILM FRANCHISE OF ALL TIME. yes you read that right I love these movies the only reason I haven't watched The Crow: City Of Angels (1996) is that I cannot find it no matter where I go this villain is one of those "I want him to die" villains I also had never ever heard of these actors (which they were very good) besides Kirsten Dunst which we all know from Spiderman (this movie is way better) now the plot is The third entry in 'The Crow' series follows Alex Corvis, who was framed for the murder of his girlfriend and is executed. he is then brought back from the dead by a crow when the legend says 'Love is stronger than death'. He returns to discover that a corrupt police force is behind her murder and for him to go after the killers, he must find out the mystery behind everything that happened. 10 years old and still a good movieRating: 9/10

I'm the biggest Brandon/Bruce Lee fan in the world but enough!!! People are going to always compare this movie to the first one and Eric Mabius to Brandon Lee. That's where I think this movie suffers.I think storyline-wise it would have been better of he hadn't have resurrected right after his execution. They should have left him dead for a while. When he came back it didn't really seem like all that much of a shock. The bad guys just thought they had botched the execution and mistakenly pronounced him dead. Maybe even have gone so far as to have him resurrect on the autopsy table, not from his grave because that would have been a direct copy of Crow number One.All in all a decent little flick but suffers from comparisons to its predecessors.

Personally I loved the movie. I know that most comments by people that have seen the film have given it some not so go comments. I just think that maybe they just have different views, which I respect. But I really loved the movie.I'm just the kind of gal that likes different movies than others (well, duh). Anyways I'm just interested in movies like this and others.I just have different expectations than that of the normal movie watcher. And yeah. The movie Rocked!!!! I loved this "Crow" movie. The other's I also like a bunch. The "Crow" movies are just some of the best movies I have seen so far in my lifetime. I just like the paranormal, and all that stuff. So these movies are high in my expectations of the films.
