2012: Ice Age (2011)

For all the hype it got I was expecting a lot more!

The movie is wonderful and true, an act of love in all its contradictions and complexity

Amazing worth wacthing. So good. Biased but well made with many good points.

While it doesn't offer any answers, it both thrills and makes you think.

Visionary director Travis Fort brings a story of courage and desperate survival to the screen in grand style. Working from an inspired screen play penned by Paul Sinor and Victoria Dadi, Fort creatively produces vast vistas of frozen waste, ice encrusted cities, and surging glaciers. This is a film that's nothing less than majestic in scope and staggering in its intensity. Those fighting for survival are played by a superb cast of actors who bring humanity and depth to their characters. Patrick Labyorteaux give a truly fine performance and Julie McCullough contributes some excellent support. Based on the very real possibility that a monstrous volcano might well erupt and cause a giant glacier to cover North America, this is not only outstanding science fiction but an vital cautionary tale for our time.

This is one of the worst movies I have seen. Well, to be honest, I didn't last 10 minutes of the movie but trust me, 10 minutes were more than enough.The movie consists of: terrible acting, wannabe actors (where did they even find them wow), awful and oh-so-typical story line and the worst of them all... effects made by a 12 year old. Literally. Okay, maybe not, but the effects were really THAT bad. Though, I'll admit, it was quite an amusing film... because it was so bad.Quick tip to these so called actors, don't quit your day job. Unless your job is acting, then definitely quit. Like right now. For the sake of the film industry. And everyone else.

This is a horrible movie. I did keep watching to see if it got any better. It did not. The special effects are horrible, I saw better graphics on a video game. I wish I could get the time I wasted of my life back, from this movie.You will not like this movie at all. The acting is terrible, the special effects are non-existent. You will shake your head and keep saying, why am I wasting my time with this movie? It never really tells you what is causing everything to freeze? The Day after tomorrow is a lot better movie. You may have to watch it to understand this one. So, save your time and not waste it on this movie.

I like natural disaster movies, it's the only reason i wanted to see this one. I have a big tolerance when it comes to this kind of movies but this is too much. i've seen other natural disaster movies more than 2-3 times each so i thought i'd give this one a chance.stopped it after 10 minutes (couldn't take it no more).this movie is joke, an offense to the movie industry and i could go on. the effects were terrible, the actors played their parts like this was a cheap comedy,no reaction when learning such an unimaginable disaster is coming to hit them. this is without a doubt the worse movie i've ever seen, and i've seen a lot. PLEASE Don't WATCH THIS!!
