Sorry, this movie sucks

A story that's too fascinating to pass by...

Excellent characters with emotional depth. My wife, daughter and granddaughter all enjoyed it...and me, too! Very good movie! You won't be disappointed.

It is a whirlwind of delight --- attractive actors, stunning couture, spectacular sets and outrageous parties. It's a feast for the eyes. But what really makes this dramedy work is the acting.

'Jurassic City' takes 3 young ladies into prison after a night of too much drinking and unsuccessful driving. Next door to them, a rapist and murderer is locked up. Just when they think it couldn't get any worse, a bunch of dinosaurs breaks into the prison. A politician unleashed them onto the city, believing that if he saves the city, he will be elected president. This cunning plan would only work if nobody ever asked where the dinosaurs came from in the first place. Anyway, the bad murderer guy takes a gun from the warden and start shooting the dinosaurs. A bunch of special forces tried the same, with more fire power but without any success. The 3 above mentioned young ladies now have to figure out how to get past the dinosaurs and the heavily armed madman...It's a rather crazy low budget action flick, but it was entertaining, I give them that. Compared to director Sean Cain's previous effort 'Jurassic Attack', the animation doesn't look as awful as last time, but that's probably owed to the darkness of the prison, mercifully hiding the technical weaknesses which were more obvious in the sunshine outside.

The idea is OK, some dinosaurs escape captivity and run wild.But...The acting is terrible. Some of the worst I have ever seen. Too melodramatic when they should be dramatic and way too dramatic when there was no need.The special effects are horrendous! Jurassic Park had good special effects, Jurassic City just looked fake. The dinosaurs were on a slightly different lighting level to the rest of the scene. It reminded my of the original Godzilla movies.The story had some stupid twists, stuff that would never happen in real life and one specifically which is so bad it made me wonder what the writers were thinking.All in all, one of the worst films I have ever seen, but not in an annoyingly bad way, just in a "what am I watching" type way. If you have 90 minutes to waste then you could do worse than this one, but it will be a waste of 90 minutes.

I really wanted to enjoy this movie. I am a big Monique Parent fan ( she played Scarlet ), but she only had a bit part, and not put to good use ( IMHO ). A couple of other faces I recognized but could not put names to until I checked on IMDb.I had put in a pre-order to get the DVD, and waited for its final release and arrival in my mail box.A HINT at a little girl on girl action, but, nada. Girls in bikinis but no T&A ( which MIGHT have made this bearable ). Most of the "action" ( and I use the term loosely ) is in a jail ( which is where the producers belong ). No spoiler alert needed; I fell asleep after an hour. I'll try again tonight. I'd recommend saving your money and wait to see it on SciFi or other cable channel.

Horrible acting, even worse animation. A high school crew would have made a better movie. A movie about dinosaurs getting lose in a prison. The dinosaurs were worse animated than Sponge bob. Lighting effects were non-existent. Come on, it's 2014 and you couldn't find a decent graphics artist. Every special effect was like a 15 year old game on the lowest settings. Just please no one watch this movie. Not worth a single second, let be 90 minutes. It was 90 minutes of straight torture. I'm just gonna type nonsense for the last few lines, because there's nothing more to say about this movie. It could be said in one line.. Just do not watch it and please don't let this director or producer make any more movies.
