A biological experiment goes bad, this time releasing a gaggle of mutated great white sharks with a taste for human flesh. Soon enough, shark expert Nick West is on the case, leading a crew to study them and eventually bring them back into captivity. West's plans hit a snag, however, when Australian shark hunter Roy Bishop is called in to wipe out the fishy menace.

After playing with our expectations, this turns out to be a very different sort of film.

The film's masterful storytelling did its job. The message was clear. No need to overdo.

First, the back of the tape says Sam's last name is 'Sharp' but it says it is 'Peterson'.Anyway, this is a great shark film, but the shark looks fake in some scenes, but it is a low budget film about sharks attacking people, so it is okay.Acting is okay, just barely violence, and language. But, does not effect the film, what so ever. Okay, better then 1st and 3rd, so i would have to say the best in the 'shark attack' series. It was worth the 4 bucks for the tape, since i had never seen this one of the series before.Great shark attack film, although only two woman in the film.9/10 fabulous stars

this movie could be called a blatant rip-off of "Jaws 3",at least the beginning of it.however it has an added twist and it's a much better movie.the shark attacks are really bloody and violent in this one,and the are frenetic at times.i'm not sure if this movie is better than the first, but it's still pretty good.again there's lots of action, and the sharks are fear inspiring.the acting is pretty good.the movie is a bit too melodramatic at times and lags once in awhile.even so,it's an entertaining movie with some thrills and some nail biting tension.there are a lot worse movies out there in the genre and in general.if you wanna fill 90 minutes or so,you could do a lot worse, and you may even enjoy it.my vote for "Shark Attack 2" is 7/10

I bought this film out of pure curiosity (and it was cheap). If your feeling low or upset just watch this film! it's combination of rubbish special effects and "robotic sharks" will make you laugh! The plot line itself is not believable and you may feel like "wow! did i miss something?" As the first one and its sequel Shark Attack 3:Megaladon the production crew obviously rushed the film along with its cheesy actors and scripts which will make you think "if this became a DVD movie i could sell a million copies of a film on the colour of the sky!" its tacky, boring and will only make you jump in hysterical laughter! I gave the film itself a 3/10 two of those points for humour and the other 1 for the action, suspense, plot line, and overall excitement. If the film itself is not your idea of an exciting comedy Don't BUY IT, you will regret it later on. I myself just buy DVD's watch them, comment on them and take them back depending on how good they were. This film went straight back to the shop, glad i kept the reciept! thanks for reading, stephenquinn

The acting might not be on quite the same level as Jaws, but the special effects just may be. They can seem kind of corny sometimes, but it comes across as being fairly realistic feeling. The South African scenery is gorgeous. I'd always heard Capetown was beautiful, but now I know. I didn't see too much of the black population of South Africa except for the mayor of the town, although many of the cast seemed to be natives. The setting was idyllic with the blue ocean surrounded by mountains looking like something out of the Caribbean. The heroine is a little on the edge, but cute. It is also a bit formulaic, but with a name like Shark Attack 2, what could you expect? I have not seen Shark Attack 1, or 3 for that matter, but I doubt they could match this one in intensity. Nothing exceptional, but overall, an enjoyable and interesting movie.
