Open Water 2 : Adrift (2007)

Wow, this is a REALLY bad movie!

Good concept, poorly executed.

It's the kind of movie you'll want to see a second time with someone who hasn't seen it yet, to remember what it was like to watch it for the first time.

Worth seeing just to witness how winsome it is.

For some reason I managed to get to watch parts 1 and 3 of the "Open Water" movies, but never got the chance to watch part 2 before now. I must admit that with the track record of the previous movies, then I wasn't particularly thrilled to sit down to watch "Open Water 2: Adrift".It turned out that this movie was every bit as slow paced and mundane as parts 1 and 3. So no surprise there. Not that I had expected any different, mind you. So on that account, no major surprises.The story told in "Open Water 2: Adrift" certainly had some interesting enough aspects, but was horribly weighed down by the fact that way too little happened throughout the movie. And that resulted in the movie feeling like it was dragging on and much longer than it actually was.The acting in the movie was adequate, although there weren't really any outstanding performances that won me over. People were doing good enough jobs, no doubt about it. But they had next to nothing to work with."Open Water 2: Adrift" was somewhat of an ordeal to get through, and I must admit that I am rating it a sinking score of 3 out of 10 stars - just like I rated parts 1 and 3.

I love shark movies. The Shallows was great, Open Water 1, even the latest one 47 Meters Down had some fun stuff but I was really blown away but Open Water 2. I thought no way could it be as good as the first one but it is scary in a way you don't see coming and isn't just a repeat of the first movie.As sequels go, this one is for sure worth your time!

When the first realize they can't get back on the boat they try one thing then doggy paddle for the next hour or two before trying something else. So many things they could have tried that they didn't. The movie was frustrating in that regard. However, if they used their brains then there wouldn't be a movie. I could go on and on and dissect their idiotic actions but ill allow you to judge the movie for yourself. Bottom line... not a bad movie, definitely keeps your attention but frustrating to say the least. Im not gonna even get into the end scene that leaves you scratching your head and what is going on. You'll see what I'm talking about.

I just open water few days ago, I didn't think all that great at all. If you think open water had no plot , then this movies actually as not plot to story. A least open water had sharks in the movies, I did expect to sharks in this movie.We just see bunch good looking in mid 20 or early 30, who get stuck in water.That is actually plot and I just could not care about anyone in this movie, I just found them very annoying 2 out of 10
