The film creates a perfect balance between action and depth of basic needs, in the midst of an infertile atmosphere.

Okay, so I thought the first one was quite good. This one is even better, and the more frequent jokes help a lot. This is basically a pre-teen and early teen version of Planes, Trains, and Automobiles with the cringe humour, from sitting on chocolate and the magic show. There are many other funny things, including everything between Greg and Rodrick.Pros:Relationship between Greg and Rodrick is funnyLowbrow cringe humour is also funnyRelatable for earlier agesCons:None, except people may also complain this is too different from the booksRating: 9

Tanks to the team to have accomplished these films of comedies. I saw two Diary of a wimpy kid. For me, it are of very good films. Books are remarkably adapted well. All actors did good in films. To us in France, they exist not in Blu-ray and DVD is devoid of Making-of. It is regrettable. With delay, good birthday in Zachary Gordon for these 14 years. And i thank both film directors Thor Freudenthal and David Bowers for these two big comedies. They brought us a lot of joy, to laugh and friendship who give desire to go in California to congratulate you. Zachary Gordon is unique in this role, a true star of cinema. Good chance for its future, he must continue making laugh us because the world needs to laugh.

Watching the first the setup of the characters was good. But it seemed that there was just too much story and the stereotypes were a bit annoying. But in this movie, the characters are all established and there's a new character in town, and she's a cute girl. She actually looks cute enough that I could see the boys having a crush on here. Usually it's some nerd with glasses.Anyway the other problem is the brothers in the movie are being nasty to each other. Finally, the mom, who represents the mom who's ignorant yet tries her best anyway, tries to force her two sons to bond together. Some incidences happen and they have to in order to make things perfect.--- Major spoiler below --- Of course nothing is perfect and in the end they end up in trouble at a nursing home. There, the boy thinks life sucks and couldn't get worse, when he realizes that the girl he has a crush on actually is there! And she is in the same situation as he is and they get along quickly. The only thing I didn't like was how the boy never gave her a hug or anything. Or are they not comfortable yet with that concept?--- Major spoiler above ---Anyway, liked the movie. Rated 8/10.

The first film was quite a good laugh out loud family film, with decent comedy and good acting on Bostick's part. This film however was nowhere near as entertaining and it seemed to be a very forced, childish film. I do understand that it is from a child PoV so the humour is bound to be childish. The relationship between the brothers was quite entertaining and I enjoyed the prank montage in the car park. The door incident was drawn out and not very funny once the climax of the joke had been reached and was definitely not worth 10 minutes of the films entire run time The ending was quite good though and I did enjoy Rowley(or however you spell it)'s Ke$ha video. Decent but only good for smaller children and only worth a 6.
