The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.

The movie was interesting. Far from perfection: mediocre acting, too long, lack of fluency.Anyway it is interesting. I know who or what I am: a being who was born, is living, procreated and then will die. Many people are convinced then there is always an "after" and a "before" because the whole human experience seems to prove this. To me is just a men-centered point of view: we come from nowhere and we end in the same way. Many other people cannot deal with this because they think it is reductive and then they believe in gods who built a human centered universe. ALL religions have to cope with things who go wrong, so they invented EVIL.Evil is a human invention, just like Good and ethics. Another idea shared by many people is that all questions have an answer. This is not true. Not necessarily true.Who am I? What am I doing here? Where do I come from? Where will I go after death? Maybe there is no answer.God existence. God DO exist. If not what are we talking about? Santa Claus exists too. If not, what are children waiting for on Christmas Eve. Numbers DO exist because I use them to count.Atheism, at least MY own kind of, does not deny gods. All gods exist. From Christian gods to Muslim's to Hindu's etc. People are not crazy!I don't BELIEVE that gods' existence can affect MY existence in some way. I do not believe that I have a soul that will survive after my death. I DON'T want a thing like. I want to DIE forever.People are more than 7 billion. World is inherently chaotic and future is unpredictable: who could have predicted European Union in 1945? And Communism fall in the 90s?After all the main them of the movie is correct: there is no answer.

I walked into the movie theater expecting to see Stephen Baldwin make a complete buffoon of himself. However, when I came out I was impressed. There was a depth to this movie I did not see coming, and it took me completely off guard. "Genius Club" proved to be a powerful, emotional, and humorous piece of work. There was a certain philosophical message in this movie, in which I think, we all take for granted. Stephen Baldwin did a great job in playing a genius with the highest iq. It is always great to see Tom Sizemore in any movie, and in "Genius" he played the eccentric scientist who provides the geniuses with his life controlling games. I Recommend this to anyone looking for a quality film with a good laugh. Definitely a 10/10 in my book.

In our world helping other people is perhaps the most important we can do. People are the ones who often teach us how to behave in certain unpleasant circumstances. Like 7 geniuses trying to solve these horrible problems. It is not only a moving story but everybody who sees this film stops for a moment or more and think over the meaning of life. One of the best American films I have ever seen with lots of good actors. Baldwin and Helfer are wonderful. In secondary schools it should be a compulsory part of education. I am a teacher and when I want to talk about these topics I always choose this film and students find it a very good example, too. It has not got a happy ending like it often happens in life. It is not a stupid story, it gives us lots of extras. When I first watched it, at the end of the film I was full of emotions and just could not sleep for a while. To put it into a nutshell: Try it and pay attention to The Genius Club.

I really enjoyed "Genius Club." It was a wonderful, satiric (take your pick: black comedy/crime drama/mystery). The acting was tremendous. Tom Sizemore was fantastic and his performance was definitely Oscar-worthy. The movie itself pushed the lines between arguing the truth and arguing the facts. With 7 big intelligence intellectuals! Although the movie was never clear on whether Sizemore really meant to blow up the world, the movie was actually more enjoyable because of its ambiguity. The tactics used by his character were very convincing and plausible. One thing I must complain about was the addition of the professor into the film, which wasn't very well done. Otherwise, fun for the whole family, if your family is a sardonic, evil, emotionless wreck.
