This is a gorgeous movie made by a gorgeous spirit.

A great movie, one of the best of this year. There was a bit of confusion at one point in the plot, but nothing serious.

firstly i understand fully why people see this movie as an abysmal American psycho rip off as there's not really much humour and action for them, also the movie is pretty empty but then maybe that's the point, the main characters are all pretty empty as are their lives... swanky apartments, flash cars, girls etc but its all rather empty and life is not what it should be... then you have pharmaceutical drugs, paranoia and the internal struggle of serving the system that enslaves you, there are snippets of all in this movie... not to mention that maybe if more people drove around listening to Alan Watt in their cars the world may in time become a far better place.5/10 this movie will be of limited appeal to mainstream movie goers!

To be an exquisite film. Milo v. is a great actor, one of my personalities is the exact one he portrays and I would imagine is inherent to him as well. Seeing how he is so convincing, the truth in acting is that it is not acting. . 10/10 on acting 7/10 audio/setup/ugly women . Follow the great's. I must now pad my review for the further review of above stated ALARM notice. I am now conforming to guideline standards for my review of the movie to be publicly stated. Is this 10 lines of text yet? Gosh I hope my review is not too strongly criticized in the negative. Counts lines again, starting from above eyes skipping down in a methodical pattern. Comes to the conclusion this is indeed running now into my 11th line.

on the surface this movie tells a story of a over medicated man not knowing what he is all about. he has a well paying legal position in a law firm. he has a very nice girlfriend. he has a beautiful apartment. all seems well.then a 'friendly yet threatening' man turns his life topsy turvy and everything he took as 'stable' in his life suddenly falls out from under him. he becomes obsessed with this man and his odd friendship.and isn't that the roll America is playing in the world today? think about it. even this allegory is handed to the viewer with the restroom graffiti he reads - (notice it changes shape as he reads it). are our friends our enemies? who are our enemies? do we have enemies? etc.that's what i think this movie is all about - being insecure and fearful in a space and time he (we) are unable to properly perceive due to the constant media drugs we swallow willingly daily. instead of stopping to think we react.this film is edited brilliantly !!!

Let me begin by saying that if you are not into movies that make you think, then this is not the movie for you! OK, I watched this movie on netflix as sort of a way to pass the time. I skipped over it nearly a hundred times, because honestly I thought it sounded a little stupid. Well I decided to watch it, and could not be more glad that I did. You slowly watch a mans mental health escape him in what is truly a great performance by Rhys Coiro. I did not NOT like any part of this movie, and loved everyone's performance. And the movie does have good talent, including Milo Ventimiglia, Samantha Mathis and even Susan Ward, who somehow always gets the part of a slutty girl, even though her talent is WAY beyond stuff like that! But anyway, definitely watch this movie if you are into psychological thrillers, or even movies that make you wonder what's going to happen next.And I promise you the ending will really make you wonder what happened. Was it really the gun going off, or just another noise in John's head? Well, you decide.
