This movie tries so hard to be funny, yet it falls flat every time. Just another example of recycled ideas repackaged with women in an attempt to appeal to a certain audience.

There are moments in this movie where the great movie it could've been peek out... They're fleeting, here, but they're worth savoring, and they happen often enough to make it worth your while.

I almost had zero expectation from this Movie But It turned Out to be One of the Best Anthology Movies i have ever seen in Hollywood.I wonder why the rating is 3.2 and which mean people have rated this movie Below 7 as it deserves above 6 at least.SLICES OF LIFE is a combination of 3 Horror stories. WORK LIFE is a story of a lowly clerk at a nano technology firm unleashes a deadly virus at the office headquarters, giving new meaning to the term corporate zombie. The story is lil weak compared to other two. HOME LIFE is a story of a local girls begin to disappear, a young pregnant woman is haunted by visions of evil demonic children hell bent on stealing her unborn fetus.I found it to be the best of the three stories.Visual effects has impressed me a lot.SEX LIFE is a story of a young brother and sister on the run from a sexually abusive home life. The Twist at the end of this story will make you shock for sure.On the Flip side, The Original story of a girl working in a hotel doesn't make any sense.Overall SLICES OF LIFE is a Horror Anthology at its very Best. You can't afford to Miss this Flick being a Horror Fan.Highly Recommended.9/10 from My side.

Or 3 Slices of Life as the film seems be called in the credits is a low-budget anthology film featuring amateur actors and lots of gore. There is also nudity too.Synopsis: there are four stories here including the wraparound story Sketchers - A young woman wakes up on the lawn of motel with no memory of who she is. She is told that she works at the motel and is put back to work by the constantly inebriated owner. While there she here's voices telling to open one of three flesh-bound books of sketches. As she reads each the film fades into to tell the story. As each story ends she find that they are describing real events W.O.R.M – a lonely nerd working in the basement of a large marketing company thinks he has found a solution to getting people to like him but his plan goes very wrong. Amber Alert – A pregnant woman finds herself haunted by visions young girls who have gone missing in her neighbourhood. Pink Snapper – A brother and sister go on the run to escape a sexually abusive uncle. They find an unconscious man on the road by a large house. After taking him to the hospital they return to house and find his daughter locked up in the basement. The amateur acting film is definitely going to be a major turn-off for most people especially in the wraparound story but I kept watching and I have to say that the stories and the special effects really made it worth the effort. This film reminds of the type of films Frank Henenlotter makes, cheap and cheesy exploitation films with gore by the bucket. If you like films like Frankenhooker or Bad Biology then you may also like this.

As a fan of low budget and indie films I was so disappointed in this movie. I liked the concept of the three part anthology, however it was so poorly written it just fell apart. The first part "Work Life" was the stupidest thing I've ever seen. I could tell from the very beginning I made a mistake when I choose this movie, but I kept an open mind assuming it has to get better, disappointingly it was just one big mess. I have seen better acting in grade school plays, seriously it amazes me that these "actors" are not embarrassed by this disaster of a film. It was not scary, suspenseful or even humorous! Just sad, so sad that this ever made it to my Video Store and I was lured into renting by the interesting cover. Perhaps the only interesting thing about this film, was it's DVD cover.Take heed and don't waste your hard earned money on this.

Even love the initials-S.O.L. that spell out the movies title. Great cast, awesome stories that are not dissimilar…Just all profound. Individual story teases-W.O.R.M.,has a great feel to it,And no lack of effects…all cyber geeks take note,Please. AMBER ALERT – Wow,Just WOW. They even used children of the right age and the story was so,so well thought out..Bravo! PINK SNAPPER,No guessing just rent it for the surprise and there are lots to behold…Very clever ending and these all seem to have a moral to them,Huh..Try to get one out of SAW 13. Wrapping all this up is SKETCHER,Kind of has a EVIL DEAD tome look. Please Anthony G. Sumner and Eric Richter take a bow,Job well done …Good movie = Worth the rental fees.
