Redemption (2012)
1865, the American Civil War has just ended. The last remaining members of a now destitute Southern family journey to California. The guilt and scars they carry from the war are deeper and more painful than the loss of their family fortune and home. I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.
Bad Acting and worse Bad Screenplay
It was OK. I don't see why everyone loves it so much. It wasn't very smart or deep or well-directed.
A great movie, one of the best of this year. There was a bit of confusion at one point in the plot, but nothing serious.
