The film creates a perfect balance between action and depth of basic needs, in the midst of an infertile atmosphere.

**SPOILERS** The usual Lifetme Woman's Movie about how tough it is for a pretty young co-ed to keep her clothes on when she's stung by the excitement and money, as well as rich and famous clients, of being a professional call girl. Both shy and withdrawn Joanna Halbert,Tori Spelling, put all her energies into her studies in collage and pre-medical school. Joanna also spent most of her spear time working her butt off at her mom's Mrs. Teri Halbert, Susan Blakely, 24 hour round the clock bakery. It's when a friend of Joanna pull a practical joke on her by giving her name out to this local escort service that her life turns around and tuns around for the worst.Getting acquainted with the call girl racket by the hot as a pistol, with or without her clothes on, Kimberly, Jeri Ryan, who's her bosses-or pimp-Ron Tablin, Scott Plank, hottest property Joanna soon loses her interest in her school work as well as her mom's bakery. As expected Ron at first is very careful in not exposing Joanna to the sleazy life of a high priced hooker. Ron has Joanna just go out on the town with wealthy and selective clients and do nothing more then dine at fancy restaurants and attend movie premiers with them. It's some time later that the shrewd and manipulating Ron starts to turn the screws on Joanna in forcing her to have sex with her clients forcing to blackmail her if she doesn't. Ron even goes so far as getting Joanna involved in off the wall sexual adventures with sick weirdo's like in being forced to strip her clothes off while her John, or client, gleefully watches and at the same plays with his piano or organ! While all this weird business is going on Joanna's collage boyfriend Jack Collins, Barry Wetson, becomes more and more frustrated in her totally ignoring him! Jack even catches Joanna smooching with one of her clients, who's old enough to be Joanna's father, in a hotel parking lot. It's just that Jack, despite his studying to pass the bar exam, just can't put two and two together in him realizing that she's involved in the call girl or prostitution business!Sick and feeling dirty in the work that she's doing Joanna confronts Ron in wanting out of his escort service and that's when the sparks, or bullets, really begin to fly; straight into Ron's gut and thick skull! Not at all that bad of a made for TV movie despite its many flaws in how naive no only Joanna but her mom Teri and boyfriend Jack were in not knowing, or spotting, what a sorry mess the very smart and straight A student Joanna got herself into until it was almost too late. In the end it was Ron who showed how ridicules he really was in having Joanna tried for him getting blasted by her. ***SPOILERS*** As things turned out Ron's illegal call girl racket, which covered some three states, came crashing down on top of his head at Joanna trial. Not in just him using the young women to break he law, by being prostitutes, but not reporting their earning to the IRS! As well as him not withholding part of their salaries for both Social Security and Medicare payments when they become eligible, at age 65 and 67, to received them. All this convinced the jury that Joanna actions were fully justified and even dropped the illegal gun charges against her! Since it was Ron's gun that she used to plug him with!

I'm not sure what seemed further divorced from reality-that Aaron Spelling continued to give his daughter slutty roles, or that I was expected to believe that people would pay for sex with the thing under the bridge. Either way, suspension of disbelief can only be taken to a certain point and paying for sex with Tori Spelling went well beyond that point.I love things that lack any redeeming quality because they're so easy to laugh at, and this movie made me cry. Even still, it was awful so I can't give rate it higher than a middle rating. So be warned! That five I give this has nothing to do with being mediocre, but so far from it that I couldn't help laughing at it's failings.

Boy oh boy was this film typical. From the very beginning to the end, this film could be predicted accurately. Not to say that this film was bad or anything, it's just that it was so clichéd. I did feel that Tori Spelling gave a good performance because she was so believable in her role. I mean, could anybody play a naive college girl that well and would have still been believable? Spelling portrayed innocence in such a way that I actually believed she was innocent and unexperienced at things. This film has some plot holes but what film doesn't? Even though the acting wasn't fantastic I did feel that they worked well with what they were given. Since Lifetime always show these particular films all the time, they're gonna have to change their name to "Television for the Abused." Anyway this film is at least worth for one viewing.

This movie is astounding...it's all about how Tori Spelling becomes (sort of "accidentally") a high-priced call girl while in college. Tori wears some amazing getups while trying to elude the evil pimp who's trying to turn her into his prize call girl. Tori's the glue binding this epic together...she's spellbinding. I was haunted by her performance in this.
