the funniest movie i have ever seen. Without a doubt. I love the music videos, the diehard fan, M-Pete discussing his priorities ('First Mum, then the career, then dad, then my girlfriend... if she's really hot, she might come before dad') it is still funny everytime i watch it
Anyone who despises boybands will love this movie! It's a mockumentary following a boyband called Boyzvoice (consisting of MPete, Hot Tub and Roar) on tour. All sorts of things that come along with being in a boyband happen, including a shocking "secret."One of the most memorable characters is their biggest fan, Ove, who takes a huge risk writing a report on his favourite group for school and almost gets trampled to death at a shopping mall performance. His naivete is just too funny, as are Boyzvoice's music videos. They're all in English, save for the "Latin" dance song that most boybands have. Hilarious lyrics, some on the naughty side, but never repulsive.
This movie is a genious peace of work, as an all-round joke, pointed at "boy-bands" and that type of music, it's a laugh-cracker! Espen Eckbo is genious in his roles, and plays them very well. As do the other members of the cast. Funny that famous artists like Morten Abel and Espen Lind plays themselves in this movie.Recommended!!
A very funny movie. Ranks just below Spinal Tap. A lot of comedies have tried to make mockumentaries. However, none have made me laugh, with the exception of the two abovementioned movies. There are however some missed opportunities in this movies. It could have been even better. The scary thing, is that this movie is so close to the truth about these boy-bands.8 out of 10
