good back-story, and good acting
All of these films share one commonality, that being a kind of emotional center that humanizes a cast of monsters.
Blistering performances.
I am not a prude by any means.... at All! But with all the F bombs, the drug use and sexual inferences the rating should've been rated differently. Just the language alone, the film should've been rated R. The movie was Funny!! My husband and I watched it without our 13 and 14 yr old home and if they were here I would've shut it off! Our youngest was in the room and watched some of it, I just thank god he has No understanding of most of it and he knows better than talk like people in movies. I understand that teens talk like that and society has made it "okay" or "the norm" but perhaps it would be different, if movies like this didn't get rated as TV14 to make it "okay" to watch at that age. Again, Funny movie!! But TOTALLY an Adult movie for 18 and over. Not for young teens!!
My wife tried to get us to watch this for like 3 weeks but I never would because of the ratings. We finally put it on the other night when we were heading to bed and I couldn't stop laughing. Seriously, I found it hilarious. Most stupid comedies try to hard or are just not funny but Spade's character was great and I'm not a super huge fan of him. I don't get some of these reviews or ratings. Just put it on and see if it's for you.
I figured this movie would be a good time waster whilst i was waiting to cook the saturday roast. I was right. I wasn't expecting much, but was surprised with the amount of laughs. Good work happy maddison.
These Netflix movies are just.......blahhhh. I'm really concerned with our country right now and the crap we think is good. This movie is like a watered down version of the old Happy Madison movies. It takes no risks and it's just like wasting an hour and a half of your life. If you thought Full House was a great sitcom, this is the movie for you.
