An old-fashioned movie made with new-fashioned finesse.

what a terribly boring film. I'm sorry but this is absolutely not deserving of best picture and will be forgotten quickly. Entertaining and engaging cinema? No. Nothing performances with flat faces and mistaking silence for subtlety.

I'm not a fan of Nah Grier or Cameron Dallas and as someone else wrote in a different review, I can tell the difference between a bad move and a good movie. This is NOT a bad movie and the 1-star haters seem to judge only by the fact that Nash and Cameron have gained fame through Vine, not acting. That said, they're not brilliant actors. They're alright for a movie of this sort. The story line is decent and had me interested all the way. Maybe a bit predictable, but still emotional and on-point for the targeted audience (teenage girls). In fact, I was positively surprised at how it was shot and directed considering all the bad press. It's a nice but not special piece of work.

While this is Nash Grier's first motion picture and a lot of publicity has been given from himself on social media, he missed his mark in this movie. His acting was just below what it needed to be and he was not as consistent as they set up he was supposed to be. As the 3rd motion picture for Cameron Dallas, his acting was on par and very, very excellent. Joey Bragg, as well, is a very goofy person but did extraordinary in this movie as a socially awkward baseball player. All together, subtract Nash, and this movie would have been a hit! Storyline was incredible and the relationships were all star. This is either a hit or a miss to many people, not in between. It's up to you to decide. Take my advice, imagine Jack Sanders is played by a different character :)

Some are only being over exaggerated telling everyone this movie is horrible because the casts are from "vines". Some might think I'm a fan of Nash Grier and Cameron Dallas so I'm saying this; No! I know what's a horrible movie and what's not, this film has a great story line seriously. Cameron and Nash aren't bad actors, they did amazing job portraying their characters and I don't know what's with people and they're hating on them, telling them they are talent-less and don't deserve their fame well dude just like what they said to the movie "grab those people and 'grab those moments' because if you do whether you win or lose you will succeed". They don't have to be Johnny Depp or Leonardo DiCaprio to do something they love or something they're passionate about. You all should start doing something you love than complain about others

This movie taught me a lesson. Pretty boys who got famous for their looks are horrible actors. I mean, really? The only one in the movie with semi-good acting was Bragg. The rest were vine boys who needed extra income. Leave the acting for the actors please. To have the audacity to create such an atrocious movie for income is too much for me. They basically knew they were creating a horrible movie, yet they also realized that 12 year old girls will be begging their parents to watch this movie. Nash Grier especially. I do not see why these vine boys are famous, nor do I support their movie. It is utterly horrible. Only God can help them at this point
