So much average
Just perfect...
Although it has its amusing moments, in eneral the plot does not convince.
Tells a fascinating and unsettling true story, and does so well, without pretending to have all the answers.
Really great cinematography , great plot and superb acting, well worth a watch
Winter Ridge has a very easy yet full of details story to follow with an interesting twist in the end. It is shot beautifully as the location used for the film definitely helps to achieve that. Combined with the wonderful actors and effective music, the film is definitely worth seeing.
Winter Ridge has an interesting and thought provoking story, and the film is of a very high quality for its budget level. The aesthetic stands out from a lot of British indies and we were delighted to premiere it at the London Independent film festival 2018.
I was lucky enough to see Winter Ridge at the Hollywood Florida Film Festival. The cinematography is breathtaking, and the story is original and well-told. I appreciated the very believable depiction of a small-ish sized town in which not everyone knows one another. I very much enjoyed the unique story line of the detective and his wife who was in the hospital, and I was intrigued by the progression of the conversations between the detective and the wife's nurse, which was a really lovely touch that gives one hope for brighter days to come for our protagonist. I am eagerly awaiting the film's availability to the general public, because I want to share it with my parents. I know they will enjoy it as much as I did.
