Good movie but grossly overrated

You love good time travel stories with time paradox and entertaining SFX ? Avoid this like the plague ! Anything in it is not worth a Z Movie at all ! The acting is appalling, the lead actor is as talented and expressive as a tooth pick, so is the rest of the cast to be honest. The script is horrible, all characters are one dimentionnal and badly acted with no conviction at all. Even worse, you don't see a single "time travel" scene in the whole flick ! I know it is a "tv" movie but come on, not a single time travel scene shown on screen ? I know Z Movies that do offer at least ones despite their ultra small budget... To cut it short : if you want to enjoy some real and legit good Time Travel sequences, acting and stories MADE FOR TV...DOCTOR WHO AND The Twilight Zone are your friends and one billion times superior to this bad april fool joke !

And all this time I thought Johnny Depp is a lousy actor! Geez! Van Dien is really smokin' hot & sexy, but as far as acting goes - he blows! But, if you can overlook that, you are in for a very interesting ride. This is one of the most underrated sci-fi movies ever! I've actually seen this film a long, long time ago on TV, but was too young to remember the title or any of the actors or names in the movie. The only thing I remembered was the plot. After that I've been looking for the title of this film for like FOREVER! Finally, I found it! And all I can say is - if I knew the difference between a good actor and a bad one when I first saw this film, I really doubt I would've look for it for so long, 'cause Van Dien is really wooden and awful! Catherine Bell and Theresa Saldana were solid enough to help us get through Casper's "acting". But, despite that, this film really is great! A solid 8/10 stars!

The movie, "Thrill Seekers" AKA: "The Time Shifters" is such a suspenseful movie. This will keep you on the edge of your seat. This is actually one of the very few movies that is completely unpredictable. Casper Van Dien played excellent in this film!

I've been trying like crazy to find this on DVD. The fact that no stores (including Blockbuster) carry it, might make you believe that that's proof that the movie sucks. But, when I think of how hard I'm trying to find it....I realize how much I enjoyed it.It's simple....just when you've seen just about every "back in time", "ahead into the future" film......along comes The Thrill Seekers with a unique angle....a man joy riding through disasters. Makes me think of what it would have been like to be on the Titanic, Hindenberg...even the World Trade Center. Don't particularly know the actors all that well. I was sold on just the story itself. It made me walk away wondering what it would be like to travel back to famous/infamous dates in time.If you walk away and find yourself thinking about a movie's plot a year after seeing it....doesn't it deserve a 10?Acting? Directing? Lighting? Script?Who cares?It was simply fun.John
