Easy-going, gentle college-boy Adam Baker enjoys frat-life, however disgusting the frat-house gets because of his sloppy house-mates Freddie, Ferguson and Munch. Then Adam meets Eve, starts falling in love, but gets jealous of frat-brother Billy, who 'bumps' almost constantly without seeking love, while Eve guards her campus-unique virginity. As even his thrice-divorced dad, an MD, urges Adam to get laid rather then loved, his patience runs out against healthy hormones

When a movie has you begging for it to end not even half way through it's pure crap. We've all seen this movie and this characters millions of times, nothing new in it. Don't waste your time.

It’s not bad or unwatchable but despite the amplitude of the spectacle, the end result is underwhelming.

The story, direction, characters, and writing/dialogue is akin to taking a tranquilizer shot to the neck, but everything else was so well done.

I gave this 1 out of ten -- +5 for Emmanuelle Chriqui and -4 for the rest of the movie. It looks like it was written by 2 different people: the first a thoughtful romantic and the other a retarded frat boy. Unfortunately, the frat boy's input won out. I can only assume that Cameron Douglas got the part because of his family connections (Michael's son)-- no self-respecting casting director would have hired this cigar store Indian. I suppose that this was listed as a comedy by default -- not sure what other category it could be put in since "turkey" is not an option. I didn't think it was possible but this movie is below National Lampoon's usual standards. Do yourself a favor and give this one a pass.

Plot & Pacing are typical of your straight-to-video flick. What's great with this movie is how it often takes typically-cliché college-movie scenes and executes with some modern-realism. Anybody who's been to college and partied their ass off will agree. Notice the trashed house, random convo's about pubic trimming and wiping, and even the party scene is realistically filmed without the normal clichés (spare the band). The career fair scene especially struck home...can't tell you how many friends visited after graduating telling me to "enjoy it while it lasts, the real world sucks." Too bad the plot sucks, but the guy who wrote this clearly has been to college, and tranferred his experiences well to the film. Worth catching if you & some friends have a "hazy" movie night.

No one expects a movie with National Lampoon in the title to be high theater, but most National Lampoon movies are funny in a low brow way. "Adam and Eve" couldn't cut the mustard. Emmanuelle Chriqui is GORGEOUS, but that alone couldn't save the movie. The love story is sweet, and the chaste Eve is treated in a respectful way, but the script wasn't funny, the supporting characters were not funny. George Dzundza, who I remember fondly from his Law and Order days, was wasted in this film. The male lead seemed too stoned and apathetic to care about anyone. Thank God this movie was on Starz and I didn't have to pay for a ticket.

This was probably one of the worst movies I've ever seen. I obviously wasn't expecting this National Lampoon film to be anywhere near as good as Van Wilder (really funny movie--a must see) or even Dorm Daze (which was okay, not extremely great), but this one was just pathetic. The storyline (girl chooses to stay a virgin but her boyfriend isn't keen on that idea) seems like it would be interesting, but without some comedy it was made out to be just plain awful and perhaps too realistic. The characters were the typical college kids; nothing too extravagant. I must say that my favourite thing about the whole movie was the choice of music played-that's all! Boring, pointless and not at all comical pretty much sums up this lackluster film. Honestly, unless it is the only movie you can get your hands on to watch, don't waste your time or money on this!
