A lot of perfectly good film show their cards early, establish a unique premise and let the audience explore a topic at a leisurely pace, without much in terms of surprise. this film is not one of those films.

It’s not bad or unwatchable but despite the amplitude of the spectacle, the end result is underwhelming.

A good "bad movie." Solid cheesy action throughout with some hot women and rather extreme violence set in a derivative apocalyptic landscape. Not brilliant film-making by any means, but still better than most of the movies I've streamed recently and which probably had products budgets ten times greater. It's meant to play like a live-action graphic novel, and it does so pretty effectively. Whoever made this movie is into classic cars, since there were a bunch of nice ones, ranging from a C3 convertible Corvette, to an early 70s and late 60s Mustangs, and even a BMW Isetta. The biggest problem I have with this film is a personal one--I am getting concerned about how inured I am becoming to depictions of extreme violence and gore, of which this movie has heaping amounts.

I laughed myself silly! More style and sophistication than Pulp Fiction, with a Game of Thrones world view, in a post corporate, post apocalyptic OZ, where the wicked witch had won.And in any fantastic, or futuristic world, some exposition is essential. In this case it was concise, informative, and visually stimulating. It came after we were hooked on the idea of the characters. Isn't that, after all, the whole point of any story... the emotional journey of the characters? Characters who are believable, intriguing, and whacked out Conan style heroes. Even the bumbling, mature, 'Kid' is more than just a comic foil. His depths of character, and wisdom, drive the plot on more than one occasion.Naturally the people portraying the characters are a big part of the process. So hats off to Peter Pappas with casting the right faces in the right places. But the greatest accolade here would have to be for Director, Henry Saine. Bringing a visual style, and knowing when to use TV tricks, in the ninety minute format of a heroes journey. The sound track set a nice pace, working well with the editing. My only comment is the genre didn't include 'comedy' in the promotional material I'd seen.Once I realised the film was not taking itself too seriously I just sat back and had a good time.

I manage to find this movie after seeing Mercenaries, a movie starring Zoe Bell and Kristanna Loken. I tough for a low budget from the Asylum it was pretty fun so i looked at Kristanna's latest movies and found this one.Well when it comes to Kristanna, lets just say she is wasted... Any random good looking passable actress would had do, and don't expect her to do any action scenes in this. Very disappointing. Its like they somewhat casted her because of her name, but still is she that "known" really? I mean, its the kind of role you would expect a well known B-actress with a huge fan base to fill in. Pretty much like Cynthia Rothrock did in Mercenaries. In any case, pass the initial disappointment for Kristanna, the movie was actually quite enjoyable. The lead actress is not only very hot, but had a pretty bad ass style and with a name like Mary Death, how can you go wrong? :) The other main actor was pretty likable, and his sidekick too. The action is very decent, there is a couple hot who looks a bit CGI too much but considering how gory and bloody they go, i was pretty satisfied with the overall style. Some people said the acting was not too good, well i saw the movie dubbed in french, can't really comment but I'm usually not too hard on this, as anything passable suits me when it comes to B action movies.Overall, saw it was based on a graphic novel, never heard of it, but it was pretty fun, a good fun pop corn action movie with likable leads and a story your interested in. That how those should be done !!

OMG! This was good, clean fun! Wait - not exactly clean fun. It was more like wallowing in the extreme. There was so much gore - lots of blood splashing, bullets flying, blades slashing and all in the name of saving the world from the evil corporate overlords. This was so over the top, you couldn't help but to roll with the fun. The antics are completely cheesy, but in a great tongue-in-cheek way. The filmmakers aren't taking themselves seriously and neither should the viewers. I thought the acting was good - right on par with what was needed. And I was happily surprised to see Rapper Eve as the Queen Gypsy, Beverly D'Angelo playing the barmaid and the one-and-only Gary Busey being himself! I really liked the two main characters. They were lovable brutes to one another and the sidekick gun caddy was hilarious. A gun caddy? Whoever heard of that? Very cool all the way around. I'd watch a sequel to this is a minute. Bravo!
