It's funny, it's tense, it features two great performances from two actors and the director expertly creates a web of odd tension where you actually don't know what is happening for the majority of the run time.

True to its essence, the characters remain on the same line and manage to entertain the viewer, each highlighting their own distinctive qualities or touches.

well only for seagal fans it's not really much of a action flick not much of action i mean you have seagal does his own fight scenes you have him in action still but movie is like more of crime not thriller but less drama little more action or heist film but movie is alright i should say noting like confusing seagal film code of honor A former DEA agent Decker (Steven Seagal) strikes a deal to help a mysterious and seductive woman Lisa Durant (Jade Ewen) steal $2 million from a sadistic drug lord. after Decker killed Lisa boyfriend who was abuse Lisa after he saved her life. Lisa wants Decker help to find 2 million dollars.(Florin Piersic Jr)Gage is main villain is after Decker and Lisa because they are after them for money i thought villains are lame noting to them and film is filmed in Paris France, and yes seagal does his action of movie like he goes to car park area the money is locked in car he knock's out couple security guards fighting them out steals money and Villains another guys wearing useless bad glasses Luc (Jonathan Rosenthal) and Pee Wee (Alexandre Nguyen) are bad useless villain are noting there characters and also co-scenarist (Chuck Hustmyre) are after Lisa and Decker for money that's all there's not much to say about this movie not much action just little more talking and talking in this movie why it's a B-Class film the story is like that plain and simple too simple story. Keoni Waxman is a DTV director that knows how to shoot action, he knows how to get the best out of Seagal. he has been working with Seagal since longtime The Keeper, Dangerous Man, True Justice TV Series 8 Episodes, Maximum Conviction,Force of Execution, A Good Man, Mercenary: Absolution, Cartels AKA Killing Salazar, end of gun, contact to kill worked with him dozen of times i am guessing Kenoi Waxman really loves working with seagal i don't mind that at all i love Keoni Waxman he has worked with Steve Austin Hunt to Kill and Dolph Lundgren in Sweepers. but i can see Kenoi waxman has very good chemistry with seagal. this movie 5.10 it's not a full on action film like all another's it's hard to explain to what it is sorry i can't say it's a thriller or drama noting maybe more of Heist film less action to it is a good film. noting wrong it Jade Ewen she is OK actress she is beautiful actress pretty women that's how i should say but not a Oscar nominations award winner. it's really worth watching only if your a seagal fan i mean i loved his work of his old staff vs DTV staff his DTV is alright but not the best apart from Pistol Whipped, Ubarn Justice, Driven to kill aka Ruslan, True Justice, Born to Raise Hell, A Dangerous Man, A Good Man are really good in my opinion this movie is not much action but it is really worth it for seagal film.

Decker is an ex-DEA agent who takes action one night to save a girl from an abusive boyfriend. She approaches Decker with a proposition, help her steal $2 million from a car guarded by police and share the bounty. But if they outrun the cops, can they outgun the hit squads sent by the drug lord to reclaim the money........2016 must go down as Seagals worst year for churning out the most terrible films ever committed to a DVD.Fair enough, films like Attack Force, Against The Dark, and Belly Of The Beast were also terrible, but at least they had the comedy value of a terrible dubbed voice, and the most inappropriate stunt double I've ever seen. This is the era where the man simply cannot be bothered to do anything else than sit down, get the makers to get a quite attractive woman fall for Seagal, and make sure his suits make look just obese, rather than morbidly obese. And it's the pits. It's basically the same story-line that Seagal has had for the last fifteen years, man against the European criminal outfit. So we have Seagal with his token sunglasses, amazing stick on hair, and him grabbing someone's hand and killing them by slightly making them fall over. After the awful Sniper film, and the other one where he played the villain, not forgetting the one where he ripped off death wish, this really spells the end of what was once a viable action star.I'll never give up on the man, after all, he gave us marvellous action films from 1988 to 1996, and then he made the very enjoyable Exit Wounds, but this really is the lowest of the low.You can just tell he cannot be bothered anymore. And it's fools like me who get suckered in to the miracle that he may just have one last great set piece in him.Rather than a pie piece.

There was a time when Steven Seagal could set the box-office on fire & leave the action-movie fans to ripples. I was & still remain a fan of this man, despite his career having declined & his appearances strictly seen on direct-to-DVD films. And 'End of a Gun', his 5th film in this busy year, is a mediocre film, that doesn't even improve as it progresses. Its got a fairly decent plot, but it makes almost nothing out of it.'End of a Gun' Synopsis: A former federal agent crosses paths with a drug kingpin's enforcer after he saves a woman from danger.Keoni Waxman's Writing & Direction disappoints. Waxman has made many movies with Seagal, but this time he stumbles. Of the cast, Seagal delivers adequately. Jade Ewen looks hot & performs ordinarily. But its Ovidiu Niculescu, who's splendid as Seagal's old friend & is easily the best thing about the film.On the whole, 'End of a Gun' is a missed opportunity.

Of all the former action stars (Van Damme, Lundgren, Schwarzenegger) Steven Seagal has had the most pathetic decline. While it is true that Lundgrens movies are filmed at a lower budget, at least Lundgren is in shape and is actually emotionally present in his movies.Seagal hasn't given a f*** about his movies in the past 15 years. And this one is no different. There are few fight scenes, and the few there are, are so horrible and cheap. Seagal just touches their arms and they fall down. Not even his body double does much movements this time. The shoot outs are slow and just look awkward. Seagal just mainly sits down in this movie and mumbles something about honor, the past and friendships. The movie has a weak attempt at trying to emulate a heist movie, but it fails miserably. The acting from the supporting cast is standard Romanian fare and the female lead is nothing special, and her story arc is garbage, she for no reason does a complete break of her characters logic at the end of the movie. For some reason there are scenes with a head boss talking on the phone. You never see his face, and his voice is clearly dubbed over. They never return to this character, and it makes no sense whatsoever to have him in this film.Don't waste your time with this movie
