Highly Overrated But Still Good

Fun premise, good actors, bad writing. This film seemed to have potential at the beginning but it quickly devolves into a trite action film. Ultimately it's very boring.

what a terribly boring film. I'm sorry but this is absolutely not deserving of best picture and will be forgotten quickly. Entertaining and engaging cinema? No. Nothing performances with flat faces and mistaking silence for subtlety.

This film is so real. It treats its characters with so much care and sensitivity.

The last scenes of 200 -sorry 6 - people evacuation a plane on an emergency slide whilst taking off at 150mph ... is so funny .... but the very last scene takes the crown ..... two people in a parachute... - my family were crying laughing . Honestly the worst film ever seen !! Lowest budget film ever .

WTF did I just watch? This movie is the worst peace a sh**t unrealistic sh*** I have ever saw! This movie is so bad and laughable I cant even describe. Denise Richards is the worst hero on a plane I have ever seen she is so un realistic. I don't believe she did all those stunts. So Denise Richards just kills all the bad guys and doesn't get hurt? Are you f***** kidding me!!!! So a group of assholes hijack a plane and we find out on the end of the film what was about it was about stolen diamonds? Unlogical horse sh***! Who would hijack so easy the plane like these people did.The action? There is any of this movie! Denise Richards looks like she has a plastic face all over again her voice is dubbed, her acting is lame and un realistic! Dolph Lundgren is the worst at here we all know that in real life Dolph would kick the sh*** out of Denise Richards's ass and that asshole actor Kirk Barker we all know that. What really made me angry is (not just the story and the plot that was poor and used because I have seen so many of similar movies) but because In my opinion Denise Richards imitates Steven Seagal in Under Siege 2 and dubs Kelly Hu's voice, that makes me so angry! At the end of the movie Denise Richards open's the door and save's what 5 passengers and they have to slide and jump off the plane? While plane is on the ground moving? Wouldn't those people have died? Are you kidding me? The plane suppose to have around 200 passengers it is impossible that in time everyone would jumps off the plane and safe them self's with that kind of speed the plane was driving that is impossible! This makes me so much angry! What about that old lady she just disappeared from that movie she was on here. That is lame and not logical.Denise Richards and Kirk Barker jumps off the plane with one parachute and Denise with one tiny t-shirt with short sleeves in the rocky mountains in the middle of the cold. Wouldn't Denise Richards freeze in that kind of weather? Of course she would in minutes she would have froze and died! That is why this movie is a used garbage washed up peace a sh*** laughable junk! Personally I have nothing against Denise Richards I like the actress this movie is a lower even for her.It is like Passenger 57 meets Under Siege meets Non-Stop! So bad this movie is! I hate Passenger 57 but it is way better movie then this peace sh**T junk s**** movie! Avoid like a plague! Score: F*** You! 1/10

Within the first few minutes I said, "This has got to be a satire." I was hooked, "What kind of movie is this?" The male flight attendant confirmed this first impression by dancing down the aisle singing, while passengers jeered and told him to shut up. Soft lighting on the female flight attendant, harsh lighting on the protagonist. Was the first a robotic Stepford Wife? The latter anorexic? Every few minutes another plot, dialog, continuity or prop error. What was going on? What kept my attention was anticipating the next jolting persistence of disbelief. "Look at that!" "It's pathetic!" "Who wrote, directed, DPed, lit the scenes and created the FX?" "Didn't anyone on the set notice?" I thought of Dolly Parton's words, "It takes a lot of money to look this cheap." The conversations with flight control were wrong and the flight controller's screens were of Los Angeles. The fights were clumsy. Others reviewers have listed the most egregious shots. I took delight in chalking up each fault. The final scene of the protagonists parachuting had me almost out of my seat: there they were, together at last, probably standing on the floor with harness and rope disappearing off the screen above. The ubiquitous fake snow flying (or was it sandpaper on a rotating drum) and yet they didn't sway one millimeter during their descent, if it was supposed to be a descent. They were as fixed as statues with the Himalayan alps silhouetted in the background. "It takes a lot of work to make a film this bad." A film this bad can make us all feel good...

Once I watched the first 2 minutes of the movie and it was nothing but about 12 different production companies, I knew I was in for a terrible movie. I'm guess they all kicked in $10,000 each. As others have stated, there are huge issues with physics of the aircraft, and the acting is a notch below B movie. The script was highly predictable and fairly boring. Don't waste your time.
