This is a coming of age storyline that you've seen in one form or another for decades. It takes a truly unique voice to make yet another one worth watching.

This movie is a must for Renee Rea fans. It is by far her best film. This is a B movies with lots of sex but it actually has a very good story behind it. The story starts with a man at his bachelor party, lots of strippers and drinking going on except for the guest of honor who appears to be bored with the party. So he decides to go outside and meets this incredibly hot looking girl, Nikki (Rea). Now in most movies of this type, the two would immediately hop in bed but they don't, they go to the roof top and drink and talk some and then he walks her back to her room, and eventually the two have hot and steamy sex. Flash forward to 3 years later, the bachelor is now married and his best friend invites him and his wife to stay the weekend with him and his new fiancée. As you might expect the fiancée is Nikki although she is now going by the name of Monique. Now those of you who are use to this type of movie might think you can guess the plot from here and parts are predictable but other parts are not and the ending blew my mind - I never expected it. This movie is an outstanding Renee Rea movie, Tracy Ryan is also very good in the movie. The only negative about this movie is the acting or lack there of, by the two male stars. It was not good at all. You should feel some kind of emotion for the guy conflicted between his wife and the girl he constantly fantasizes about, but you don't. Despite that, Renee Rea is worth seeing in this movie. If you are a Tracy Ryan fan, you will also not be disappointed.

'Forbidden' is about the best soft-core movie I have seen in some time. Expectations are usually quite low from this genre, but on that scale, the film scores, and scores big-time.Our protagonist walks out of a bachelor party before his wedding by his friends, but meets a girl with whom things seem to click all at once, and they have a great one-night-stand.Cut to three years later, and the happily married couple are on a weekend getaway, with a friend, when it turns out the friend's companion is the same woman he'd met before the wedding! What unfolds is nice set of situations, sometimes embarrassing, sometimes funny, but never boring. The sex scenes are quite tasteful, and the soundtrack complements them in an amazing way. Some of the songs are worth storing as mp3s! Tracy Ryan as the happy wife gets most of the scenes, and she does great, but Renee Rea is someone you'd like to check up on the Net immediately after the movie. She is, in a word, cute. The fact that her acting leaves a lot to desire, does not in any way take away her young, fresh beauty, where Ms. Ryan does appear tired in some of the scenes. The guys are both good, and the sensible storyline does not let things get out of hand. None of the scenes are senseless, and one never gets the fast-forward-for-the-scenes feeling, which usually comes after 10 minutes after the start in movies of this genre. My score: 8/10 largely for non-nonsensical story, if you see what I mean, and for Renee Rea.

This review contains spoilers.Forbidden is a softcore film that gets praised a lot as one of the "must haves", but it's difficult to find a copy. I didn't think that the film lived up to all the hype, but it is still a good softcore film and a worthwhile purchase. The movie gets off to a great start. There are a couple of scenes from a bachelor party where two strippers show off their beautiful bodies. This is followed by three boy/girl scenes and one boy/girl/girl shower scene. At this point, you're just short of the halfway point in the film. However, instead of keeping the momentum going, the film stumbles at this point. There are only two more full sex scenes for the rest of the film. There's still a lot of nudity and some "sort of" sex scenes, but none of it generates much heat.So you end up with six scenes. All of them are good, and two of them are fantastic. There's some interesting locations, good camera work, very explicit shots, and the actors and actresses are always audible. There are two women who are the focus of most of the movie (Tracy and Renee). Both are beautiful and give great performances. There are three more women, who are all also beautiful, but we only see them briefly. This thing could have been really great. It only runs for 83 minutes. All the "sort of" scenes could have been developed into full sex scenes and the film still would have come in at only 90 minutes. I would have liked to see better use of the other women. This is good, but there are many other softcore films out there that are better, and easier to acquire.

Watched the flick on Cable. I thought I was OK. Not the best but still better than A LOT better than many other late night flicks I have watched. As another messenger noted, the sex scenes were great. The acting was better than fair.. Picture overall was great for what it was. I don't think I would pay to see it in the theaters...lol...however, it did what it needed to do for me.
