Before I Fall (2017)

Very disappointing...

Just perfect...

A film with more than the usual spoiler issues. Talking about it in any detail feels akin to handing you a gift-wrapped present and saying, "I hope you like it -- It's a thriller about a diabolical secret experiment."

The film's masterful storytelling did its job. The message was clear. No need to overdo.

This movie is a copy paste of the movie "Happy Death Day" (surprised no one mentioned this besides me because I was expecting it). It's literally the same plot-line (like seriously) with minor differences. Same theme of a girl who has either attitude problem or is wealthy, who relives the day of her death again and again until she figures out why. I like this genre of movies but creativity doesn't go a long way in these movies. I like happy death day more it was a good movie this one was ok but the ending was shit, like wtf was that for an ending??

So here's the thing,fellow movielings, I just finished the book by Lauren Oliver. (Great book btw) I'm really annoyed this movie isn't true to the book. Yes, same story line, same names etc. So as I'm sure you read the movies description, teen girl relived the day she died...blah blah. Ok cool. BUT, it's the little thing that aren't major,but enough to make me say you know what this sucks that's not how it was in the book! For instance, MOVIE- Izzy has dark brown hair Book- Izzy has golden blonde hair. MOVIE- They find out Juliet Sykes ( the girl that is bullied by the popular crew for years) killed herself through phone notifications, BOOK- Allys mom comes in and tells them while theyre having a sleepover. MOVIE- Kents father died, BOOK- Kent's GRAMDFATHER died. I can keep going but you catch my drift. All in all it is a decent movie but a way better book. CHEERS!

This is a serious movie with a valuable message for everyone, not just teens. Live each day the way you would want to be remembered. I will not forget this movie. Well down.

Had NO IDEA when starting to watch this movie it would impact me, a 58 yr old father, husband the way it did. Very very very moving and extremely motivational for actual real life and an example one person could have upon impacting so many other people's lives, for the good or bad, by one's daily choices purposeful displays and words of love and expression. Very powerful and I'll probably be watching this movie many times as an example of its influence upon people!
