I don't have all the words right now but this film is a work of art.

Good movie, but best of all time? Hardly . . .

Although I seem to have had higher expectations than I thought, the movie is super entertaining.

The film's masterful storytelling did its job. The message was clear. No need to overdo.

Following a deadly viral outbreak, private military soldier Max Gatling leads a handful of survivors and a ragtag band of robots against an army of the infected. Robots v.s Zombies with cheap cgi, a dumb plot and dull acting what else did you except? This isn't some kind of masterpiece but seeing Dolph Lundgren killing zombies and then having a robot by his side is worth both your money and time it's a good B- Movie that you will find some kind of fun in it it's not an award winning masterpiece or anything but for a low budget straight to DVD film? It's pretty good i won't lie on that one and that's why i'll give it an 8/10.

Don't expect a high budget, star-studded cast. This film is not that. It's a low budget, direct to disc release. As long as you're OK with that, and you are an action flick film as I am, this is entertaining enough to spend a rainy Sunday afternoon watching. The acting--outside of Lundgren--is not great. He's always good but the rest of the speaking cast come off as awkward at times, decent at times. Never quite awful, but never quite great. It's a B-movie. What do you expect? Golden Globe awards? The movie is reasonably fast paced. The action scenes are as fun as they are gory. But again, it's a Zombie Apocalypse plot so that's what you expect to see. It delivers on that regard.I saw one site billing this film as a sequel to Robotropolis, a movie so bad that I simply couldn't finish it. This, if it is a sequel, bears almost no resemblance to the poor effort displayed in Robotropolis.Overall, if you are a fan of Dolph, you like action and you like Zombie movies, this is enjoyable. Just don't expect too much.

Dolf Lundren is Major Gatling, an elite mercenary hired to rescue a wealthy industrialist's daughter in a city quarantined by a military blockade. The city is isolated because a deadly virus was unleashed and turned the population into rabid zombies(infecteds)similar to those seen in 28 Days Later. While Battle Of The Damned is not nearly as terrifying or as good as 28 Days Later, BOTD is much more survivalist action than horror and a good one at that. If you are only watching this film because you are a Dolf Lundren fan, you need not worry as there is tons of action in this flick. The tone is dark enough and taken seriously to please most horror fans that have seen lots of stuff like this before. Compared to much of what's out there in the zombie/horror genre the gore level is relatively low, but this action packed piece is well done and plenty entertaining.Dolf has great screen presence and he along with the rest of cast had no problem selling this science fiction nightmare with solid acting performances. Overall, Battle Of The Damned is a good low budget(not low quality) zombie/action film worth watching for fans of the genre. I also thought the robots that show up later are cool also.

it's bad on so many levels- I don't even care enough to get into all the logic flaws in the story; here's just a few of the dozen... from the "hardened" borderline-elderly super delta soldier who's supposed to be the best of the best- but has moosed up gel in his hair the whole movie and needs glasses to read a map... to riding a silly motorcycle up & down the streets in a zombie infested city- a motorcycle? really? how do they pump gas at all the stations with no electricity? even the robots were lame; in one scene the robots are slinging zombies everywhere- then a few minutes later, 6 silly zombies are able to destroy a robot... why are zombies even interested in a metal robot when they can't infect it or eat it? if a zombie was into robots... then they would also be into eating cars! STUPID! you never have any REAL connection to any of the characters- so much of the story just doesn't make any sense if you think it through.acting = F Directing = D Story = C+ Script= D-I was actually waiting for Rambo to pop out with a knife in his mouth. the protagonist was a total "rambo" wannabe. this movie was a total cheese fest- one of the worst executed scripts ever.
