If you like to be scared, if you like to laugh, and if you like to learn a thing or two at the movies, this absolutely cannot be missed.

After playing with our expectations, this turns out to be a very different sort of film.

If they had used anyone but Lee Evans this would have been much better.Jackie usually overdoes his scenes but Lee Evans made a shambles out of every scene he was it. Seems as if he and the director thought they were doing Saturday Night Live instead of making a movie. The kid is cute and -- despite the age difference, the romance was OK. The story is silly, but it's Jackie Chan. There are some funny situations, but Lee ruined many of those with his extreme over-acting.

Well film was quite funny entertaining but was not up to the mark.I was expecting bit more from Jackie.Writing was not so good rather disappointing.Watson's acting was good an funny but i have question that they mentioned that they (Jackie and Nicole) wanted Watson to join their team and they cant do any good without him even they tried hard to convince him to be part of team so can any one tell me what he added to team or investigation? You are giving him funny role at least mould story that way.Eddie found man from snake's gang and leave him on street as nothing was happened shouldn't he be arrested for further investigate?Another example snake-head and Eddie's first fight shouldn't be snake afraid of Eddie because he was half immortal and Eddie was full but we see opposite.you cant be so dumb and stupid id you are wasting so much money and talent. So i would say it will probably disappoints Jackie's fans.

Once upon a time Quentin Tarantino was asked who he wanted to be as a child, and he did not hesitate to answer: "Jackie Chan!". "Medallion" - a movie for viewers under the age of twelve years, or for adults who have never grow up. Only children forgive director's obvious failures in the not to plot. Only children do not notice the obvious, if not arrogant, borrowing from the "The Golden Child" with Eddie Murphy and frankly weak actor's play. Well, tell me what the boy at that age is a matter about the cast and plot coherence? All this does not matter, because the main thing in the movie with Jackie Chan - Jackie Chan's self! Fortunately for grateful audience here is still intact. There are also his "brand" fights and jumps, and "brand" chase through the city (this time it is Dublin) for the next villain Warlock, who once again plays Julian Sands.

I liked this movie even though there are way too many holes in the film. If you compare this movie to the Rush Hour movies or Shanghai Noon, you will probably hate this film. I saw this movie with a laidback mind and expecting nothing more than a fun action movie. That is what I got. The story is about a medallion that has two halves. Each half gives superhuman strength to the user, but you have to be dead first. If the halves are combined, you get immortality. Now Chan and his gang of Interpol cops must keep the medallion and the user, a kid away from the people who want to use the medallion for bad. Jackie Chan is very clever in this film. He acts well and adds a bit of comedy. Claire Forlani also did a great job. Lee Evans was so-so. He can be a bit annoying. The special effects sucked. A rule of advice is never add CGI to a Jackie Chan movie. It will make that movie bad. What is the point of the cat meowing? It made the movie even worse. Overall, this is a good family film, even though it's a bit cheesy. I rate this movie 9/10.
