what a terribly boring film. I'm sorry but this is absolutely not deserving of best picture and will be forgotten quickly. Entertaining and engaging cinema? No. Nothing performances with flat faces and mistaking silence for subtlety.

True to its essence, the characters remain on the same line and manage to entertain the viewer, each highlighting their own distinctive qualities or touches.

I absolutely loved the book, and was thrilled to know that it was being released as a movie - until I watched it, and was heartbroken. The perspective is told entirely from Rihannon's point of view, whereas the book is completely from A's. An entire side-plot related to Nathan was completely dropped, barely mentioned as an aside, and pointless characters were given lots of screen time while hardly having a mention in the book. Mechanics of A's ability are completely changed just to suit the 'teen romance' of the movie, and what I felt were important body switches, showing real diversity, were either completely ignored, or underplayed. The movie could've done so much for representation, but it just didn't care to.If you can watch this and separate from the book, or aren't reading the book at all, honestly it plays as an averagely low-budget, dull teen movie, with nothing special going for it.

This movie was just wrong. Rhiannons character was too bold and A did so many things that never happened like break up with Justin, A would never have done that, ever. There are characters that don't exist in the books like her sister and alot of the insider view is left out that you could have gotten from a voiceover or internal monologue type of thing. So if you read the book, the movie doesn't make sense and is just aggravating. The worst part is if you haven't read the book you have no context of what's happening why is A falling in love with her why her it just doesn't make any sense and neither does who/ what A is until like halfway through.

I enjoyed this movie, but I expected more of it. I liked that they tackled a lot of real problems but the main focus was the love story. I think they could've done more. Like why didn't they make "A" wake up in her sisters body, or her best friend. Why did they only let him stay for longer in the last two body's? And maybe it would've been a good twist to make "A" come back to a body he had been before? Overall good movie, but don't expect too much, it's kinda like the same as all the other ones in this genre.

Every Day (3.5 out of 5 stars).Every Day is a better than expected romantic drama film with an interesting concept and love story that strives to the young adults. I will say I did enjoy this film and probably a better love story than most Nicholas Sparks movies or those cheesy sassy romance films. The film follows "A" a traveling spirit who wakes up every day as a different body either a female or male. He wakes up as Justin (Justice Smith) and falls for his girlfriend Rhiannon (Angourice Rice). Rhiannon notices that Justin is acting differently in that one day were he notices her, listens to her, and does spontaneous things throughout the day. Then, the following day, Rhiannon notices her boyfriend barely remembers the day and is neglecting her for his selfish needs. But she runs into another guy that says he is "A." Which they try to communicate and hang out; as "A" tells her that he changes bodies every day. It is an interesting love story. Rhiannon falls for this character "A." Even though, "A" changes appearance every day, living as someone else. But she notices "A" by the way he/she looks at her or the act towards her. But the biggest conflict is Rhiannon trying to hide her boyfriend or explaining the situation to her family and friends. "A" is a traveling spirit that has been ongoing with the situation since he was a child. "A" has been lonely for most of their lives. And can feel the person he is in. Even, when "A" wakes up as an emotional teenage girl, who has been plotting suicide and can feel her thoughts that are negative towards life. Angourie Rice is a sweet talented young actress. And her performance is incredible as Rhiannon. A bright young girl, who is stuck in a dead end relationship which her boyfriend only thinks of himself. And struggling with trying to maintain a relationship with her father. Who has been distant with the family. Justice Smith was okay with his performance as Rhiannon's boyfriend. It was an entertaining film. Seeing "A" transform into different people. And how it is trying to maintain a relationship with Rhiannon. But the film does drag a little in the middle of the second act. Were there is a little too much exposition and anti-climatic. Overall, Every Day is a pretty fair romantic drama film. An interesting and entertaining story. Angourie Rice delivers a sweet and charming performance. But it does get a little boring and repetitive in the climax.
