Better than most people think

Good films always raise compelling questions, whether the format is fiction or documentary fact.

This is one of the few movies I've ever seen where the whole audience broke into spontaneous, loud applause a third of the way in.

The movie turns out to be a little better than the average. Starting from a romantic formula often seen in the cinema, it ends in the most predictable (and somewhat bland) way.

The plot and execution are quite different from your usual action or comedy movies. The movie delivers both as an action movie as well as a comedy though the former is the dominant theme. If you are just looking for a comedy, then the action may be too much for you and comedy content perhaps not sufficient. But otherwise, it is definitely entertaining and worth watching. The movie rides on Siddharth Malhotra's shoulders and he delivers well. The biggest asset of the movie is the plot and how it unfolds in through out of sequence chunks that you have to put together in your head. That adds to some fun but also makes it more complex. So it is easier if you are able to rewind and watch.

A gentleman has a cool premise. It also has a cool twist where the movie makes you feel like it is a story about look alike characters but then drops in a time jump. There were even a few laugh out loud bits. The dialog and writing was above average. I also liked the music quite a bit.The movie suffers from a slow start. It has a strong middle and second half. It is also let down by poor acting (especially on the part of Sunil Shetty and the guy who plays his chief enforcer), bad graphics and inconsistencies in the plot. The sound design was also off. You could see that they dubbed a lot of dialogues after shooting the movie. I wish more Indian movies would record audio/dialog live.Overall I didn't mind watching it once and I found it to be a fun watch.

The movie is awesome I give it full 10 The story was fantastic. Movie Location Miami, Bangkok,Mumbai was nice.the actor Sidharth Malhotra double character Gaurav and Rishi doubles the fun.in movie Rishi character is just awesome .well I think Bollywood got Indian James bond Sidharth Malhotra stunts all hand to action are fabulous. Well I think Sidharth Malhotra should do more action films like this .actress wise Jacqueline Fernandez really suits in this movie her sexiness ,hotnes action wise also she had given fantastic performance. Suniel Shetty he make come back from this movie his way of speaking his villain role I like it. And that comedy gang I can't say they all were so good.the songs of this movie was also good .well I liked the movie too much .I think whom ever have not seen this movie watch it guys. Well in social media Sidharth Malhotra is compared to Varun Dhawan I think Sidharth Malhotra is more better than Varun Dhawan. Varun Dhawan only do role of a flirtatious guy. Well I saw his movie he only do overacting.Well makers should make fresh sequel of this movie.

This movie has been directed very well with unpredictable turns. The subtle humour keeps you smiling. I am not in to much of the action films. Yet I enjoyed watching this movie. The music is good.The directors projected the characters well. And the cast did a good job. Jaquelin was good with her moves and her radiant energy. Overall, a very nice movie.
