Ranczo Season 1
Ranczo ["Ranch"] is a Polish television comedy series, directed by Wojciech Adamczyk, that has aired since March 2006 on TVP1. It follows the story of Lucy Wilska, a Polish-American who has inherited her grandmother's country home in the fictional small town of Wilkowyje. She arrives in Wilkowyje intent on selling the cottage but, after seeing the charm of the village, decides to stay.

A flu epidemic breaks out in Wilkowyje. Witebski, the Polish teacher, comes up with the idea of starting a local newspaper.
Lucy sees many problems in the village, all of which come from alcohol. She focuses on the illegally brewed kind first.
Lucy wants to take up teaching in a local school. Headmaster's enthusiasm about an actual American working for her clashes with mayor's strict opposition.
Everyone in Wilkowyje learns Lucy decided to move permanently. The mayor and his wife plot to change her mind.
A Polish-American woman inherits a mansion in a small village of Wilkowyje. She arrives in Poland with a plan to renovate it.
