Fantastic!

Although I seem to have had higher expectations than I thought, the movie is super entertaining.

The acting is good, and the firecracker script has some excellent ideas.

It is movies like this that give "Hallmark Movies" a bad name. This is a one sided film that is cast badly> It also has a story so stupid and predictable that I am sure the film only went through one draft. Now the actors are all "Way too Old" for the parts they play. This film seems to have a "PRO-WAR" agenda. The cost of war emotionally is not accurately covered in this fluff of junk. In this film A widow of a veteran rents out her back apartment to another veteran who is going through post traumatic stress syndrome. However its not really "said". It is alluded too. Whoever wrote the screenplay did not do much research. They came up with the same old cliche's and a pedestrian characters. If the film had cast younger people the film would of worked better. People in their 40's playing people in their 20 is pathetic!

I lost my husband in the Iraq invasion. He was sent there because George W Bush lied about Iraq having "Weapons of mass destruction". I was left alone with 2 children. I then had to move out of base housing because "I was not in the service". This film show us nothing of the pain of explaining "loss to children". It also show "nothing of the 24/7 pain" that you go through when you lose someone. My husband hated the war! "He was mad when had to go". He was mad when fellow vets were "Hushed" when they even dared to question the mission. So my children are now 22 and 24. They will not enlist in the war because our country only cares about rich people now. This film makes saints out of vets which truthfully "THEY ARE NOT SAINTS". They are just doing what they are told. When one vets saves another vet "That's a Hero", When they enter a country with a TANK "Do you think they seem like heroes to the people who live there?" This film was crap. It will only be good to people who "Never question authority"

First of all and most important, Julie Benz is smoking hot. Most of the time she is parading around in heels showing off great legs. A+++ Michael Shanks was trippin' me out cause at various times I thought he was going to go full blown serial killer. That being said.....this is a thoroughly depressing movie...I either wanted to shoot myself or jump out a window to end theirs and my own agony. Watch it once and never go back. Too depressing.

WHEN ITS A POSITIVE REVIEW THERE IS A GOOD CHANCE THEY WERE INVOLVED WITH THE PRODUCTION. NOW I HAVE NO AGENDA! I AM HONEST! I REVIEW MOVIES & SPECIALS AS A WAY TO KEEP TRACK OF WHAT I HAVE SEEN!I want to say I am a huge fan of Michael Shanks. He is one tall good looking man. However as good as he is I think he is "Too Old" for the part he plays here. Same for Julie Benz. The leads should be around 30 not pushing 50. However they are both likable. Michael however shines 10x better in "Christmas Lodge". In this film military a military widow rents an apartment to an Army Captain recovering from an injury in battle. As they team up to save the town's military museum with a Christmas fund raising event, these two "wounded birds" find themselves falling in love. Now my biggest gripe about this film is that the widow is some what dating a guy who does love her. I felt bad for him because he is a victim here. He never pushes Amanda to do anything she doesn't want to do. Then he really gets pushed to the side. The worse film of the "Hallmark Movies of 2017"
