A doctor in Ottawa invents a miraculous machine that uses a record of a person's DNA to reverse injuries to his body. The victim of an accidental shooting, he becomes the first patient in his own machine... and awakens whole, but with his left and right reversed. Or has he, instead, slipped into a reversed parallel universe? On top of this, summer has mysteriously turned into winter, and a visiting American senator is trying to buy or steal the machine to sell it to another country for military use. Written by Anonymous

It’s not bad or unwatchable but despite the amplitude of the spectacle, the end result is underwhelming.

"The Random Factor" is obviously a low-budget movie, but it is a fun ride! Andrew Divoff stars in the film - he was great in Disney's "A Low Down Dirty Shame" and pretty scary in "Air Force One." Wiliam Richert who plays Alex Okeefe is brilliant. There's one actor in the film that doesn't quite work (the little doctor) but otherwise the film works. It makes you think about alot of things. I would recommend it.

This was a bad Canadian production about a guy that ends up in mirror world. The logic and science of this film is pathetic. It is sort of a rip-off of the TV series Sliders. Four main characters that are involved with going to a mirror world and trying to get back gee that sounds familiar. The acting in this movie was cheesy the fight scenes look bad. The weapons look like something from a toy store. The music was corny especially that stupid theme song. The characters were not that interesting nor was the computer voiced by Dan Aykroyd. This was a cheesy movie with a bad plot and a low budget.
