The movie's neither hopeful in contrived ways, nor hopeless in different contrived ways. Somehow it manages to be wonderful

I'll get the negatives out of the way first. This film is low budget with a limited story line and a weak script. The acting is pretty dodgy, mainly from the male character to be fair. The two women were not that bad, and given a decent script and story to work with I think they would do OK. So for the positives. There's not a lot of action really and I found the first half hour pretty unbearable but I did stick with it and I have to admit it ended up not too bad. I was curious to see how it ended and I actually quite liked the ending. I like the ambition of this film, despite the low budget (about £50 I think!) it does its best to create tension and atmosphere and sometimes almost succeeds therefore I've given it 5 for effort. I suspect most people will hate it but it has a certain charm ...

Loved the production design and plot. It's not a million dollar budget movie, so keeping that in mind, the filmmakers did a lot to make the plot and visuals engaging throughout the film. The Characters played off each other and struggled with the obstacles along the way. Some mystery thrown into the plot to keep the interest. Looked like the opening scene was filmed in the Star Wars line at Disneyland!

Decent VFX, especially for the budget. Also, the acting was much better than I expected. Great premise, in that earth has now become the alien planet after humanity has relocated to Mars. If you're looking for a classic narrative arch, you might be disappointed. Agree with others, that it's a bit too open ended ... on both ends. Still, an interesting film.

I like the genre relating to isolation and coping where vulnerability is so immediate. This was a bold attempt and in my view surprisingly successful in providing the the escapism that I was looking for. There is quite a library of films out there that relate to this sort of subject. To get out there and get seen there needs to be a certain something that stands out and is different. This caught my attention as it was an independent as opposed to the usual big budget studio production and I was fascinated to wee exactly how if would be different. It's easily for a film to get lost in the woods. This does stand out for being somewhat different. It is certainly worth watching.
