Highly Overrated But Still Good
Tells a fascinating and unsettling true story, and does so well, without pretending to have all the answers.
Ok... Let's be honest. It cannot be the best movie but is quite enjoyable. The movie has the potential to develop a great plot for future movies
Like the great film, it's made with a great deal of visible affection both in front of and behind the camera.
"Doc Brown Saves the World" is an American English-language short film from 2015, so probably the most recent official addition to the Back to the Future universe. Director Zemeckis and his co-writer Bob Gale reunited for this little one-man show that starts Christopher Lloyd near the age of 80 already once more in his career-defining role. This time he goes on quite a quest as it is on him to travel back in time and avoid a nuclear catastrophe, so there are some kind of real life references included in here. However, we only see Doc before and after his mission of course in a white sterile lab. I think you need to be a great BttF fan really to appreciate this one and everybody who isn't can skip it I guess. It's not on a level that will get you really curious about the trilogy, but those who love it can give it a go. I give it a thumbs-down overall though.
