One of my all time favorites.
When a movie has you begging for it to end not even half way through it's pure crap. We've all seen this movie and this characters millions of times, nothing new in it. Don't waste your time.
It's the kind of movie you'll want to see a second time with someone who hasn't seen it yet, to remember what it was like to watch it for the first time.
The film may be flawed, but its message is not.
The legacy from the Victorian age that was brought into the Edwardian age was the novel. This was the basis for a number of Griffith's films, but he took it a stage further with visual narrative through editing. This film marks the transition between the Victorian novel and the visual narrative.
