Good films always raise compelling questions, whether the format is fiction or documentary fact.

It's funny, it's tense, it features two great performances from two actors and the director expertly creates a web of odd tension where you actually don't know what is happening for the majority of the run time.

Almost all romantic movies that came out in the decade 2000 (until 2010 decade) will have this storyline. Although I didn't watch most of them, judging from their ads, you would expect boy meets girl and a conflict (rich girl, poor boy, poor girl, rich boy, taken boyfriend, taken girlfriend, illness, family conflict, political conflict, parents don't approve, etc) to drive the story. This movie centers Regine Velasquez (Cristina) who falls in love with Aga Muhlach (Vince), but Vince is not sure if Cristina is already the girl for him. After introducing the two main characters, the movie proceeds to the mandatory cheesy courting stage, followed by the dramatic stage that will have a tragic turn. Usually, the "tragedy" may be an accident, an illness, someone missing, the guy/girl discovering something unforgivable, or (in this movie) a death of a love one (sometimes a child). After the dramatic part of the movie, you can be sure that the movie will conclude with a happy ending when the guy/girl realizes that his/her true love is him/her all along. There may be something that will trigger this like (another) accident/illness/kidnapping/someone missing/a person almost dying. In this movie, thankfully, the last part had no trigger. Regine and Aga had good chemistry, which made this movie bearable. The dialogs are okay and it's nice to see if you want to pass the time. But if you are looking for something substantial, this or any other movie that has Sarah G/Bea Alonzo/ Angel Locsin/Kristine Hermosa/Anne Curtis will surely be disappointing.

I watched this when it first came out in theaters. The story is simple but Regine and Aga are really good in this movie. They bring out their characters and they have fantastic chemistry on screen. I just watched it again for my Tagalog class and it was just as cute as the first time I saw it. If you like chick flicks, this movie is for you.Vince (Aga Muhlach) is a womanizer while Cristina (Regine Velasquez), on the other hand, is a doting daughter. Vince gets into a serious car accident that sends him to the hospital where Cristina happens to be visiting her father who has lung cancer. Cristina goes into Vince's room and professes her love to this stranger when she unknowingly unplugs Vince's heart rate monitor. She runs away frightened until she randomly sees him again at a shopping mall. There they connect with each other and sparks fly. After a few more chance meetings, Cristina and Vince fall head over heels for each other - with one problem: Vince's girlfriend Crystelle. Eventually, Vince realizes that Cristina is the girl that he wants to be with and to be cliché, live happily ever after.
