9 Mornings (2002)
After the death of his girlfriend, Gene (Piolo Pascual) becomes a cynical, controlling miser whose life revolves around only two things: money and sex. So when he discovers he's about to inherit his grandmother's vast fortune, his spirits soar -- but they quickly deflate when he learns that, in order to get it, he'll have to complete all nine Christmas dawn masses, or simbang gabi a Pinoy practice he abhors. Why so much hype?
Sorry, this movie sucks
I like movies that are aware of what they are selling... without [any] greater aspirations than to make people laugh and that's it.
The plot isn't so bad, but the pace of storytelling is too slow which makes people bored. Certain moments are so obvious and unnecessary for the main plot. I would've fast-forwarded those moments if it was an online streaming. The ending looks like implying a sequel, not sure if this movie will get one
