Good films always raise compelling questions, whether the format is fiction or documentary fact.

It's unoriginal, badly written, and downright racist at times, but Carrie Fisher made me laugh out loud several times ("They're your bitches" is my favorite, but you have to watch the movie for the set-up). Almost all of the Mexican characters were the usual stock stereotypes, from the corrupt, bumbling cops to mama and the big family throwing a fiesta. But that said, the scenery and the lead actors were pretty to look at. Pleasant enough to watch if there's nothing else on and you're willing to let your brain turn to mush. If you liked that dreadful Matthew Perry/Salma Hayek movie from about 10 years ago, then you'll probably be able to sit through this one.

I loved this movie! It kept me interested the whole time wondering what might happen next. I can't really compare it to any other movie since it is unique. The beginning started off excellent and kept me hooked since. I'm a huge fan of Laura Pepron. I hope to see her in many more movies. She was amazing. There were a couple moments where it seemed like the mother or the groom-to-be (Brian) did not have much acting skill because they seemed to stumble over themselves a little. But lucky for us, they aren't in much of the movie. I can't really find anything to complain about this movie. 2 thumbs up from me. Can't wait to see it again!!

I absolutely loved this movie. The mother was a little too over the edge for me but I thought the rest was wonderful. I hope this will be shown again soon and often. It was great, creative, and touching. Laura and Matt gave excellent performances. It was truly a great story, the two actors had excellent chemistry. They really sold the emotions of the characters. When will this movie be available to purchase? I definitely could see this movie over and over again. I'm going to definitely tell my friends and family all about this movie. I loved it. I also love to watch It's a Different World and Living Single; boy oh boy does Oxygen have really great taste in programming.

Just saw "Romancing the Bride" and was wondering what resort in Acupulco the wedding scene was filmed at. I have gone to Mexico a few times. I recognized some of the different locations in Acupulco. The wedding scene was filmed at a resort. It looked beautiful. It overlooked the ocean. I was wondering where this resort may have been. Also if this resort is open to the public or if it was a time share. There appeared to be a pool with a pedestal where the wedding vows were being said. I looked everywhere in the credits to see if the resort was identified. Does anyone know this resort? Also, in the movie, the town San Marcos was a place where Carlos lived. Does this town really exist near Acupulco? It looked nice. Maybe a place i would visit if I return to Mexico.
