Raymond Weir is a shut in computer genius surviving in the post dot-com era. Disabled as a result of a home invasion that took the life of his late wife, Sarah, Raymond sits in his makeshift apartment above a run down bar, over medicated, mourning her loss and contemplating suicide. His only contact with the world, besides his close friend Paul are the three computer screens that blink emotionlessly at him twenty four hours a day, through sleepless nights. There, he sees the universe, filled with images of webcams around the world, from petty crimes and private confessions, to public tragedies and natural disasters. Wow! What a bizarre film! Unfortunately the few funny moments there were were quite overshadowed by it's completely weird and random vibe throughout.

A lot of perfectly good film show their cards early, establish a unique premise and let the audience explore a topic at a leisurely pace, without much in terms of surprise. this film is not one of those films.

A film with more than the usual spoiler issues. Talking about it in any detail feels akin to handing you a gift-wrapped present and saying, "I hope you like it -- It's a thriller about a diabolical secret experiment."

I enjoyed this movie. It is a thriller that made me wondering the entire time until the end. I thought the plot was very mysterious and engaging. However I thought the ending felt a little bit rushed. The story developed well all the way till the end when it is time to reveal all the secrets to the viewers. I was expecting more explanations, since there were many unanswered questions. I thought if the movie would spent a little bit more time at the end to explain the plot in details would give the viewer a more clear picture. The picture had a dark theme which fits the plot pretty well. The performance of Charlie Hfheimer as Raymond was terrific, the other main character Burt Bulos as Paul also did well. I felt there should be more scenes of Paul since he is the main valiant of the movie. More character development of Paul is needed to really capture the viewer at the end when secrets reveal. Sarah played by Katharine Towne was also superb, good emotional performance throughout. They also did a good job on the computer graphics, nothing fancy but it gets the message across… Very nice sound tracks throughout the scenes. I liked the ending credit sound track.
