All of these films share one commonality, that being a kind of emotional center that humanizes a cast of monsters.

I brought the DVD, thinking that it was going to be about the same as the Astronaut DVD. But no, this was the whole show and the special features were great! The 3D glasses were cool and I loved watching them with these as I have never seen them live. I'm hoping I will one day as they really do look great on stage. The audio commentaries were the best thing on there after the actually concert as you get to hear what each member has to say about two of their songs. Andy's is probably the most interesting as he likes pointing out the mistakes! I love Duran Duran and this is by far the best documentary/concert DVD since the 1984 USA tour DVD, Sing Blue Silver. They look great, and sound brilliant! Thanks Duran Duran for being so fantastic and putting up with the celebrity and fame hassle! You guys really do rock my boat!

Seeing all five original members from Duran Duran back together, recording & performing those great songs from an era when music was still fun was like a dream come true for me. Being a teenager in the midst of the 1980's, very boy-crazy & very much into music, what can I say?? ... I LOVED DURAN DURAN so much that it hurt. Not until Mar of 2005 was I able to capture that excitement LIVE, although I'd seen D2 4 other times & The Power Station once, I finally saw the orig 5 boys & did those tears start streaming down my cheeks. Amazed at the great performance, they proved themselves as the unique entertainers that will forever be held in my memories reminding me of what I consider my childhood & those memories are Great! Thank You John, Nick, Simon, Andy & Roger! I will always & forever be one of your greatest fans.Stephanie

My husband brought this home for me today as an early anniversary present. We saw DD 3x this year on the "Astronaut" tour and loved every show. I had made a random comment about wishing that we could capture the concert on film and play it over and over at will... well someone heard me because this is the DVD for that concert experience. It brought me back to when I was 13 and in love with these five guys.... I sang along with every song like I was hearing it for the first time back in the day....woooooooo!!!! Some extras are a great documentary with the history of the band, and a slideshow photo gallery. There's a 3D video clip that you get a pair of punch-out 3D glasses (inside a little booklet) but I kept the glasses intact and watched while holding the book up to my face. It didn't matter - I was disappointed over the 3D experience and just kind of put it aside. The rest of the set is great, and worth every penny. (You get a bonus audio CD too) 1978 to 2005 and Duran Duran is still fabulous. Can't wait to see them again this winter :)
