it is finally so absorbing because it plays like a lyrical road odyssey that’s also a detective story.

The movie turns out to be a little better than the average. Starting from a romantic formula often seen in the cinema, it ends in the most predictable (and somewhat bland) way.

This was a great movie considering how cheap it looks and was. A man is driven to insanity by the usual cliche life and relationship problems and starts murdering those he finds responsible like his pervert friend. The kills are cool nothing super expensive looking. The main character is a great actor in this movie and makes it interesting. I kept wanting to see the next craziest thing he did. The movie lives up to the name. Also the film style is quite vintage which made it cool. You don't see those old cameras used much anymore.

Tom (Asbestos Felt) has an over active imagination when it comes to his wife Leeza (Courtney Lercara). He imagines she is having an affair with every man she meets. His imagination is at work when the lighting has a red glow. Tom kills all these men. Then the ending becomes so over the top, you think it wasn't the same boring him.The acting, camera, and sound were all horrible. It is the type of film I was surprised by the fact I didn't see the microphone hanging down in every scene. Not the best VHS transfer either. I recommend avoiding this film, even for camp value.I don't recall any f-bombs. Shower scene without nudity- in fact you catch a glimpse of Leeza' top and the guy's underwear.

Aaahh Killing Spree. A brilliant splatter-fest done damn well. Tim Ritter directs this film superbly with sincerity and honesty. Asbestos Felt and Courtney Lercara play the role of husband and wife perfectly, the chemistry is felt well and the psychotic jealousy of Tom Russo(played by Asbestos) is portrayed with ease. The viewer can indulge in this b-grade film pleasantly, but on one condition.. You MUST watch this film with an open mind. Watching this film and feeling the whole-hearted effort put in by everyone who contributed to the film makes this film remarkable and unforgettable(yes, in a good way). This movie is supremely unique and deserves a lot more credit. The psychotic murder scenes are superb and the original score by Perry Monroe throughout the film (especially the undead rising scenes) match every scene perfectly. I highly advise watching this film if you are into your b-grade cult horror or splatter-fest type horror.. It ain't no Braindead, it has a plot that keeps you watching to the very end unlike the latter in which it is just blood, gore and weak humour. KILLING SPREE RULES!!

That's right... back in 87 I was in a rock band called Lights Out. Some friends of mine were making a movie and needed a band to help with the bar scenes. OK... so we move all the equipment, set up, play a few tunes...only later to find that the audio equipment failed and our music was not recorded. An amazing and lucky break! (At least we got a credit at the end of the film) But seriously, I observed the process of making this movie, and you have to admire the sheer "stick-to-iteveness" (is that a word?) of these guys to make a movie with absolutely no budget. I would say that the movie has a certain charm to it... but I am clearly biased. Some of the stuff they did, from a special effects standpoint, is pretty good... especially considering the money limitation. The other surprising thing to me is that at least 17 people have seen this movie. (As of this writing, there are 17 reviews posted). To me, this movie is almost like a performance piece. That is... the act of creation is where the artistic part lives.... the movie itself is a by-product of the art. An artifact really. (It's sort of like the ashes left behind after someone walks across burning coals). You have to encourage this kind of creative effort. (I Think...?)
