I have an infatuation with Ms Erin DeWright, or Misty Mundae. I think that there is something about her that attracts me to her movies. Probably because they are B-Horror films, for the most part. This movie, though she's not in it as much as I wished, is an awesome movie. I originally watched it thinking that "I'm gonna do this for Misty". I saw there was a girl tied up, and I am not into that S&M stuff. But I pushed on and started the movie. When that part came it wasn't even that bad. I think it's sick how Sean had so much power in the town. I thought the plot was good too. But I also love the story to other movies like "Zombie Lake", "Vampire Vixens", "Mummy Raider", and Trolma films. I don't know why, but I do. I don't understand the hate for this film. I often think that people jump on the band wagon when it comes to reviews. Whether it be Movies, Music, Plays etc. Sometimes you need to just sit and try I enjoy something, you know.Sorry, I've been swaying off topic, but I can honestly say that this movie was amazing. You don't need a big budget to be good. Not just Michael Bay films are good. And the film can have parts where it isn't as exciting, but it's still good. You don't have to be Tom Cruz for people to enjoy your acting. My favorite part is how it picks up at the end. All the deaths in the movie are either funny or they are just kind of bad. I do think its funny at the end when Sean gets hurt, the acting when he came down to the Cop car was pretty funny. Overall, I really think you should watch this with an open mind. Or re-watch it with one.

First off: I have a weakness for bad movies, especially for the ones that are so bad they're funny again... also I like horror movies.Liking bad movies and having seen tons of them, I can say with certainty: This is not the worst movie ever, not by a long shot. The story is based on an idea that hasn't been beaten to death already, which is good. Other than that, it's not great, but it works, if you're kind enough to look the other way every now and then, and I actually found it interesting to watch. It's pretty coherent overall, too.Sure, the actors won't get any awards for this movie, but they do a bearable job. Some of the minor roles are noticeably worse than the leads, but overall the acting is good enough to not be distracting. The production values are those of a typical non-Hollywood B-movie: Picture quality is somewhere at the lower end, although I've seen worse, the special effects won't wow anybody and the action scenes are pretty weak overall, which hampers the finale especially.Still, the movie surprised me in a good way. Although it's not bad enough to be funny, it's not bad enough to be a pain to watch, either. I had entertaining 80 minutes with it. Don't expect an award-winning masterpiece, get over the low production values and you should be able to enjoy it, too.

If you started off with the premise that you could make one of the worst films ever whilst talking to a group of ten year old school kids, and then wrote a script together with them that contained no original dialogue, a plot that was predictable in every way possible and then cast a bunch of incompetent actors (Even Henriksen is bad in this one!), mix it together with an absurd blend of clichés and some bare breasts, then this is what you would probably end up with. Some films are so bad that they're good fun. The trash aesthetic and all that, but this one is just trash. Rubbish. Truly and utterly awful. The only thing that kept me watching was the vague hope that it couldn't get any worse. But at least it didn't disappoint in that respect. The score was good. And there you have the one and only redeeming factor for this execrably bad, fetid piece of tripe.Cheers, Will

Default Fabrice Lambot's DYING GOD Dying God (2008) Dying God Delivers With Original AppealThe MySpace official page for Fabrice Lambot's French-Argentine horror Dying God is online, and on that page is a poster for the movie. Also, Brad Krupsaw's blog for the movie is online. The screenplay for Dying God was written by Lambot and Jean Depelley, based on a story by Nicanor Loreti and Germán Val.The movie's cast includes James Horan, Lance Henriksen, Erin Brown (a.k.a. Misty Mundae), Agathe de la Boulaye, Enrique Liporace, Victoria Maurette (she's also in Albert Pyun's Left for Dead and his BulletFace), Ivan Espeche, Samuel Arena, and (Brad) Krupsaw.Dying God has a surprisingly original story and though the movie starts to flail early on from the flat acting and low production costs, once Lance Henriksen shows up at around the half-way mark things start to look up.James Horan does a fine job himself and all the girls do a great job too. After 15 minutes, stop and turn away from the screen. Yell as loud as you can to overcome the feeling of turning off this movie due to the horrible acting and post production, but then keep watching, I don't think you'll regret it. If you like horror and have a quiet afternoon to kill this one's worth the watch. The movie is basically about a very cool legendary monster from Panamian folklore who is about to die, desperate to find a mate to continue his species, the only caveat is most of his prospective mates don't survive the first coupling. An intensely gory film with a cool monster that while starts out bumpy won't disappoint for a low budget horror it's a bit of fun.
