Little Golden Book Land (1989)
A storm threatens the already damaged harbor breakwater, and Beamer, the Lighthouse, fears for the safety of all who live in Little Golden Book Land! When Scuffy overhears Beamer sharing bad news with the big ships anchored nearby, he promises to help. Undaunted, Scuffy recruits Tootle the Train, Poky Little Puppy, and Shy Little Kitten to join him on his mission.

Lack of good storyline.
A Masterpiece!
Very good movie overall, highly recommended. Most of the negative reviews don't have any merit and are all pollitically based. Give this movie a chance at least, and it might give you a different perspective.
I used to watch this cartoon when I was a kid and I can't believe it wasn't even aired on TV 2 years before I was born! Little Golden Book Land tells the story of Scuffy the Tugboat and the others racing against time to save the day. Harbortown is in a dire situation: the breakwater has been damaged by a previous storm and another storm is about to wreak havoc and destroy Little Golden Book Land forever! Join Scuffy the Tugboat, The Poky Little Puppy, The Shy Little Kitten, Tootle the Train, and the rest of the Little Golden Book Land gang as they desperately find a solution to save the doomed Harbortown.
