Sorry, this movie sucks
Fun premise, good actors, bad writing. This film seemed to have potential at the beginning but it quickly devolves into a trite action film. Ultimately it's very boring.
It is a whirlwind of delight --- attractive actors, stunning couture, spectacular sets and outrageous parties.
It's the kind of movie you'll want to see a second time with someone who hasn't seen it yet, to remember what it was like to watch it for the first time.
If your children want to see a Sleepy Hollow movie and are bored with the Disney film and or the Tim Burton film than they should definitely check out this movie. This is a very good, wholesome family film in which a young boy faces his fears and has some fun along the way with a few whimsical ghosts. It also has a surprisingly catchy opening song. I saw this film for the first time when it aired on Cartoon Network the year it was made. I think it has only been reshown once but it is one of the better Halloween specials right up there with Dear Dracula, The Halloween Tree, and Halloween Town.I don't know why but for years this movie did not have a listing on IMDb. I'm glad it finally has one.
