It’s fine. It's literally the definition of a fine movie. You’ve seen it before, you know every beat and outcome before the characters even do. Only question is how much escapism you’re looking for.

A great movie, one of the best of this year. There was a bit of confusion at one point in the plot, but nothing serious.

A spin instructor obsessed with self-improvement is drawn to an experimental treatment center. There's alot of short movies out there with each and every single one of them being either unique or just a very cheesy waste of time and unfortunately this was on the 2nd side of things plus no offense but? Pamela Anderson is the last person i'd choose for a dramatic, sci-fi short kind of film. It was basically boring, stupid and quite waste of time and talent since somehow even Jane Fonda put her name to this for a simple voice cover, i guees money?

I've watched quite a few shorts lately and this one is definitely one of the best. Too often many short films, even the award winning ones, are too slow paced, arty, talkative, lack of sense etc. Connected has beautiful cinematography and cool locations. Pamela is perfect as the main character searching for a way to reinvent herself. The topic is very interesting in the modern age of technology obsession with aging, beauty and health.

"Connected" is a 10-minute live action short film from last year (2015). The reason this is somewhat known is not due to director Luke Gilford or his co-writer David Largman Murray or actress Dree Hemingway. It is because of Pamela Anderson from "Baywatch" playing the main character and because of Oscar-winning actress Jane Fonda voice acting. But it is a fairly disappointing outcome overall. It is about a woman who joins a strange cult looking for harmony and happiness and the way she gets that metal thing injected in her head makes me think of everything but harmony. These 10 minutes are a prime example of style over substance. They obviously wanted to make use of the phenomenon of an aging beauty like Anderson here, but well.. I would not say it worked out at all, but this is not Anderson's fault, but really the fault of the script. It sounds extremely pretentious from start to finish, especially referring to what Fonda said. I felt it was a pretty cringeworthy film that tried soo hard to be aesthetic and creative, but came oh so short. Major thumbs-down.
