A movie that not only functions as a solid scarefest but a razor-sharp satire.

This is a coming of age storyline that you've seen in one form or another for decades. It takes a truly unique voice to make yet another one worth watching.

I enjoyed watching this film and would recommend other to give it a try , (as I am) but this movie, although enjoyable to watch due to the better than average acting fails to add anything new to its storyline that is all too familiar to these types of movies.

The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.

It's not a thriller, actually. Rather a social topic for a feature that takes place in the "poor" suburbs of Paris, where rebel youth usually explodes its wrath. Against police force, firemen and also doctors. A scientist, after visiting a patient, is badly wounded in his car with a Molotov Cocktail. He falls in coma. And that's where the story begins...The doc's brother is a cop - played by Rochdy Zem - who wants to avenge his bro, even if he is not dead. The teenager who threw the Molotov cocktail finally saved the doctor before the car exploded. And of course the cop doesn't know that...Besides, a man whose the wife died because the doc did not answered the emergency call because of the attack, wants to avenge his wife's death...And, as you can guess, all these fates will eventually collide.A well paced film, with fascinating characters played by great actors.Only the very ending disappointed me. Not enough dark for me.Not enough hopeless.
