It charts the entire short lifespan of the group, from their origins in their days as Warsaw to the more well known incarnation of Joy Division. So much average
It's complicated... I really like the directing, acting and writing but, there are issues with the way it's shot that I just can't deny. As much as I love the storytelling and the fantastic performance but, there are also certain scenes that didn't need to exist.
There are moments in this movie where the great movie it could've been peek out... They're fleeting, here, but they're worth savoring, and they happen often enough to make it worth your while.
The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.
