I didn’t really have many expectations going into the movie (good or bad), but I actually really enjoyed it. I really liked the characters and the banter between them.

One of the film's great tricks is that, for a time, you think it will go down a rabbit hole of unrealistic glorification.

How can I rate it negative 100? This movie is literally the worst movie I have seen so far. If you absolutely have nothing to do in your day and want to kill 2 hours of your time, please do yourself a huge favor and have a nap, take the kids out or even go meditate!! Seriously dudes, I am so angry at myself right now that I have completely wasted 2 hours of my life watching this undeniably 100th grade movie. The dialogues are so lame. They sound like as if a kid in KG had written it and his daddy wants to reward him for making this nonsense up by spending some money and making such a movie of it.No offense but it is like watching a 1000$ budget Indian movie. Not even, probably 5$. Yes, you read that right, a FIVE dollars budget movie. So now I hope you can imagine how it looks like. I warned you, you guys will appreciate the advice!

If you're like me and you're a sucker for anything film related, good or bad, then you'll appreciate this movie. Movies like these, really, are in a genre of their own. You can rate this in with horrible classics such as Troll 2, Shark Attack 3, and many other "worst movies ever" that are out there. If you want a good laugh, to escape from reality for a couple of hours, and get sucked into an astonishingly bad story, ridiculous-yet-likable characters, and dialogue so terrible that you can't help but laugh, then this movie is for you. Don't hold your expectations to any level. In fact, take those expectations and put them to bed early. Turn off the mind, pop in some cheap popcorn, or gummy worms if you prefer, and get ready for Road Rage!

This is movie is crap beyond crap. I will only mention a few points here as to why I think this movie is crap, as it is a long time since I saw it. Here goes:As several others have noted why does these characters go to college, they all appear to be about 30+ years old. And the car chase...The chase would never have started if Casper van Dien had en't cut that car of 3 times!! And all the time whining about the nut-case in the truck. And later when they are on foot, Casper suggests that they walk in a river so that their pursuers wouldn't be able to follow their tracks...COME ON!!! How stupid is that! City slickers racing along in a big pickup truck at 50mph+ are not going to notice the tracks of two persons on foot. The editing was crap, one moment the cars are all banged up, and the next they are fine again. Using the same cuts several times over. Dialogue was crap, and so was the acting.Despite these and a multitude of other factors (also crap)this film was fun to watch...in a frustrating and painful way. If you like crappy movies then this is probably one of the best round.

Boy, am I in the minority about this particular film. You see, I thought this movie was a lot of good, silly, rousing fun. Sure, it's a cheesy B-picture, but it does the trick and delivers the stirring goods, which makes it a solid film in my book. Okay, with that obligatory explanation stuff out of the way let's get on with this here review. After they accidentally cut off an ominous giant black pick-up truck on the highway, both dashing limousine driver Jim Travis (firmly played by perennial straight-to-cable TV feature topliner Casper Van Dien) and his fetching female passenger Sonia Walker (the very cute Danielle Brett) end up being relentlessly terrorized on an isolated patch of sticksville mountainside backroads by the pick-up's dangerously unbalanced and irritable wombat driver. Veteran director Sidney J. Furie tackles the admittedly trite "Duel" rehash material with commendable flair and aptitude, keeping the pace sprightly and unwavering throughout, creating a reasonable amount of tension, and staging several truly spectacular bash 'em, crash 'em and smash 'em up car chases and automobile stunts with smack dead on-target exciting results. Moreover, both leads turn in personable performances, the dialogue possesses real snap and wit, there are a few genuinely startling plot twists, the blaring rock score totally smokes, and, most importantly, we've got no pretense whatsoever to be found in a single fleet frame of this amazingly vigorous and galvanizing little beaut.
