The film examines the question, "If Obama wins a second term, where will we be in 2016?" Across the globe and in America, people in 2008 hungered for a leader who would unite and lift us from economic turmoil and war. True to Americas ideals, they invested their hope in a new kind of president, Barack Obama. What they didn't know is that Obama is a man with a past, and in powerful ways that past defines him--who he is, how he thinks, and where he intends to take America and the world.

Through painfully honest and emotional moments, the movie becomes irresistibly relatable

Obama is a dirtbag, which everyone knows. Possibly the worst president ever and now his bogus presidency is being revealed.

The main charge here, though slickly presented, is that Obama is an anti-Colonialist. Given that so were America's founding fathers, this is a rather remarkable complaint, one that D'Souza seeks to portray as a vice rather than virtue ... but the film never bothers to point out that its creator is an apologist for Colonialism (he actually thinks it's a good thing), a political shill for the conservative end of the GOP, and an active, long-time opponent of the Democratic Party. This was meant to be a scare tactic using marketing 'spin' masked as 'analysis' to defeat Obama's re-election -- clearly, it failed miserably at that -- and its dire arguments were undermined by they events actually unfolded during Obama's second term. This is at best a highly partisan critique and at worst political propaganda ... but it certainly isn't an objective documentary. To call this a documentary is to insult real documentarians such as Ken Burns and a whole range of honest indie filmmakers.

...does not speak for the film. It speaks for the widespread delusion of Obama supporters and their leftist antics. The low score of this film is an act of sabotage by those who would prefer you remain deaf, dumb, and blind. The overall score of this film is not the result of a lack of integrity. It is the result of the factual information it brings into the light, and it just so happens that that very same information stands in direct opposition of the vacuous ideals of the man it is based on, and those who support him. It is, absolutely, no surprise that this film received such a low score. This film (and the book, as well) were both incredibly informative and presented in a very professional manner. Dinesh D'Souza provides us with a factual, unadulterated tour of Barack Obama's past. The only manner in which one would argue with the details that this work imparts to the public is the manner in which one simply wishes, with all of their heart, that something is not true.If you are searching for the truth, you will be pleased that you took the time to view this film. If you prefer a life of farcical denial, you will, undoubtedly, be disappointed and make a point of attempting to trash the reputation of D'Souza and it will, very likely, be done in the most predictable way, befitting you and others of your variety.
