I don't have all the words right now but this film is a work of art.

This is a tender, generous movie that likes its characters and presents them as real people, full of flaws and strengths.

One of the worst ways to make a cult movie is to set out to make a cult movie.

The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.

Luis Ospina is the last heir of an art division called "grupo de Cali" (Cali Group), formed by writer and movie critic, Andres Caicedo, Film Director, screen writer and actor Carlos Mayolo, they completely changed the history of colombian culture in a place known for being part of an era of violence and drug cartels at the time. This movie is about a fundamental group of artists that were against the Establishment but in a very artistic form, they had to see how Cali, one of the largest and more important cities of Columbia was turned completely into a war zone through the drug cartels, the violence and terrorism. It tells a story of a gang of very talented young men who decided to make Cali the cinematic mecca of Columbia, they all loved cinema, rock music and literature passionately and they would ended up being the cornerstones of colombian culture. This is by far the most complete and entertaining documentary I've seen about colombian culture and how art and violence affected our way to see our world. I recommend everyone to give this movie a look, it will be completely rewarding.
