Fun premise, good actors, bad writing. This film seemed to have potential at the beginning but it quickly devolves into a trite action film. Ultimately it's very boring.

Not sure how, but this is easily one of the best movies all summer. Multiple levels of funny, never takes itself seriously, super colorful, and creative.

An old-fashioned movie made with new-fashioned finesse.

I have to admit I am not a fan of Ted Danson. I think this is the only project of his that I liked and I liked it despite him. This is a very good movie, good writing, good production values and wonders of wonders great acting. Much better than Medium or Ghost Whisperer and near as good as Sixth Sense but, of course, Ted Danson is no Bruce. Oh well. You can't have everything and this made for TV movie sure delivers a lot. Jack Palance is quite a bonus. Just seeing that face reminds this viewer of what movies can be when they try. This one tries and pretty much succeeds. Had this movie been in a traditional format of two or so hours it would not have had the power to immerse the viewer into the characters' world so while it is a bit long and takes a sizable commitment of time, it is worth it. Highly recommended.

Its a must see movie. Its story is great, acting is great and once you watch it you'll like to watch it again like i do .When i first saw it i missed its name but just saw a flash of it which read the word heaven. I tried searching for it over the web again and again when one day google brought me here and i found it. In my country when i asked about this movie they told me that a movie with this name doesn't exist but once i found the poster of it on the web i showed it to all my friends who didn't believe me and finally they believed me.This movie is on number 2 from the most popular movies i have ever searched. The first one was taken By Harry Potter but i must say its a great movie. You cant know what the end will be.. unless you see it.. BTW i first watched it on Hallmark.Which i would like to thank them to showing such a great movie to me.. Thank you Hallmark ..

I watch TV and don't care how much of it ends. If I fall asleep, it doesn't disturb me that I don't know what happened. When "Living with the Dead" was on one Sunday with Part Two the next Sunday, I couldn't wait to see it, I even waited until 11 pm to drive about 4 hours (there & back) to take some children in the family home to their mother! (they didn't have to watch the movie, too young) And I had to get up for work at 7 am at the latest!! I thought the story and acting were compelling, I felt the story line could be possibly true, I was never sure who was doing the murders until nearly the very end. Of course, such subject matter isn't for everyone, but in the 21st century, it's on more people's minds than ever. The very best part of the film is when Diane Ladd says "Not Everyone" when Ted Danson asks her if death is peaceful for everyone...whew! This film is underrated. It really held my interest and I was recommending it, even to people who missed Part One.

It seems that there are several shows using the after death theme lately. In a culture that doesn't talk much about death this may help people become more open minded and comfortable with death. I like movies with real life husband and wife actors performing in a film. This movie kept my attention throughout even though at times it did drag a bit. It was interesting seeing Queen Latifa act without being funny. I am most moved by the ending of the movie. I didn't see it coming and that is refreshing. More importantly, the message of forgiveness and love in such a spiritually profound, visual and moving manner was very unique. I am grateful that I chanced upon it. There are no accidents only experiences.
